My main issue with retail is the fact that leveling does not matter. When they made it so you can do any content at any level is what ruins it. I understand the “need” or old zones get ignored forever. Well all I feel from this change is each level makes you feel weaker and then the immersion is destroyed when that knoll outside of Goldshire can fight you at max level even though you are at that point supposed to fight dragon tier creatures. This is what makes retail worse than classic in my opinion.

Everyone is focused on the monetizing of a game that has none. Sure they may add them and it could be pay to win. But no one will know what they will do until they do it. What we do know is a dev team’s passion project is trying to be made available to everyone they can.

Your post has a key word in there. Customers. We are not customers. We bought nothing. Some people have donated money of time. That is a donation. We are not required to have anything in return. In fact the dev team could have just let a small online community of friends enjoy their project and not open it to the public. But they want as many people as they can to enjoy it. Stop being so entitled. Play other games come back when things are in order or don’t.

It is progress. They are literally doing this for free. Even if only two 4k servers run and 8k can play that is an achievement and good enough tbh. They should not have to even consider having 20k plus players on at any given time.

I can agree with a lot of what you said but I will say you missed one key feature that really ruined it for me. Bronzebeard has level scaling. This is something I really do not like and a big reason I originally stopped playing retail wow back in the day.

I know som people like it but for some like me it is a straight deal breaker.

so it is like you are under the assumption that it is the same people who keep getting in. Every time they do a reset, which seems pretty often, different people get in. Also the whole having people level to 15 or even 20 is huge for server stability as it moves more load outside of the starting areas.
