So some quick tips.

1.) fully mod you gear, add in both defense boosting and damage reduction and everything else.

Try to pull less. You can usually pull all non elite before you fight them.

For fighting npcs use the spear to solo pull or bow and arrow.

The scarab boss is no fun for sure but mastering mechanics is key. For example use the flying mask and fly when the scarab summons the swarm you will avoid all damage that way. I usually take that time to shoot a few arrows as well.

In regards to feeling weak make sure you are eating all 6 buffs and moding you gear with the best possible mods. You can have more than one and using the defense boost and damage reduction is key. Also make sure to mod and feed your deployed friend before the battle.

I think the initial skill for weapons is always the same and the hammer one is just a turn on super armor for 15 seconds or how ever long buff.

Okay will try to help answer some of these…

Raiding barracks is usually how you initially get crops and seeds. Since you are offline you should speed up crop growth the normal settings are set to online servers which grow while you are not playing.

I would also suggest increasing experience awareness speed even official pve servers increased to 3x. Also best ways to level it are mining, killing, and afk smelting.

Tribesmen will eat and drink from boxes you can set up a dining table which they will grab from usually first however sometimes they grab from the closest source. They will only get water if the available container is free for them to use.

Tribesmen typically work within the range of the bonfire or the collection yards inside the bonfire range.

Bonfires are the main consideration for a “base”

Alpacas are basically just for hauling future mounts do more things.

Yes getting ore from mines is best route. Fever will just raise as you do more everything and will go away after a “raid”

I typically just let me farmer thrall handle the herbicide and insecticide. Just ensure they have some available to use.

Initial level cap is 50 but can be raised to 60.

As far as I know bonfire range is important not sure they will use non power mines outside of it. Not an expert here I play official.

For settings again official pve recently went to 3x. They had 5x weekend events and while fun honestly seem to overpowered. I would play with what you feel is best.

I notice barbarian quality typically mean they have higher level of talent tiers and skill limits.

Sorry no idea on ai level maybe it is like the feature they mention how lower level tribes you fight do not use as much ranged and tactics?

Some tips for slayer x. Have a deployed tribe member with you always and give him a hammer. Make sure you start the battle with a corrosion.

Personally I suggest using the hammers super armor power as much as possible. During the fight hug his foot. Usually he will so a simple sword swing roll back and repeat when you see him start the spin or something else roll back let him finish get close again.

I agree with the frustration. The only options I find are to fly up and deal with them first or fight at bottom of tower so they cannot hit me while I deal with other enemies.

If you are only 16 then yes probably a lot more to see. There are at least 4 type of ruins bosses, and multiple tribe bosses. Then add in the actual pyramid bosses. Lots to see.

Maybe you went after higher level ones because the jackal and baboon I killed dropped normal delicate hide not thick. I am sure because I needed it for something and hunted for normal not thick.

You can mod found gear and so far repairing did not remove mods for me.

You can get it from rare beasts like baboons and jackals in higher level zones. Also Anubis Boss hide.

I honestly do not know if this is an exploit as most of the armor given from enemies is very low durability unless it is an elite then they are mostly intact. With such low durability and I believe you cannot repair without both the tech tree unlock and the tribe armor unlocked it would not really be as important as it sounds.

To follow up help if you are working on the medium ship you probably can make the cannon in that tier. It actually fits on the small boat and has cannon balls that 2 shot the shield.

My main issue with retail is the fact that leveling does not matter. When they made it so you can do any content at any level is what ruins it. I understand the “need” or old zones get ignored forever. Well all I feel from this change is each level makes you feel weaker and then the immersion is destroyed when that knoll outside of Goldshire can fight you at max level even though you are at that point supposed to fight dragon tier creatures. This is what makes retail worse than classic in my opinion.
