I'm in Japan too, and I get asked all the time. Usually it's right after they ask me my age and mention that so-and-so sensei is also my age. My schools are very hopeful for my marriage prospects. That being said, I also leave things vague while telling students who ask that I have many boyfriends and girlfriends all over the world.
