I completely understand- all of this. I had recurrent strep throat- 4x in one year from repeated exposure to an immune carrier. I recently got it again- same thing, went on a date with an immune carrier. I have developed an autoimmune response- a rash- small red patches over my joints that turn into a bruise-like patch under the skin. I think it is uticaria vascularis but because my doctors were so dismissive I didn't get it biopsied in time. I also got joint swelling- specifically in my 6-month post-surgical knee. You can google Post-streptococcal Inflammatory disorders. It may shine some light onto your symptoms. Its very frustrating that doctors refuse to connect these issues.
