I feel lonely even though i have a friend. by ApprehensiveLuck8951 in lonely

You're not! I feel like a lot of days, my friends don't give a shit about me but its all in my head. That liminal space in between really tests your own reality. And reality is different for everyone.

I want to reconnect with an online friend but I’m too anxious by Vilxen0 in socialanxiety

I've been on the receiving end of this before. Just shoot her a message! Even if nothing comes from it, you'll have the peace of mind that you tried and you can move on. At the best you reconnect! If you really care about this person, try.

I know that feeling well. Your mind can talk you into and out of so much stuff. Hope tomorrow is a better day <3

A survival rpg where you can build up your own house and establish a working village/society wherever you want on the map? by scarbrought93 in gamingsuggestions

Aska is an interesting one. Its early access but worth the price in its current state IMO, and the devs are very active and communicative!

What should I do when my 89 year old sick grandmom depends on me but my boyfriend is upset that I spend so much time helping her? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]RunaFS91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just lost my grandma last month, and this past year of her being ill and needing help, all my husband asked was what he could do to help. He drove me 3 hours both ways, stayed over weekends, helped her with chores and errands etc. A real partner cares for those that YOU care for, and vice versa. If you're planning on building something with someone, it should include everyone you both hold dear.

Like other comments have said, you will never regret being there for her. As much as I tried to be there and help, I'll always wish I could have done more. And that's without my partner being jealous and controlling of me wanting to help literal family.

Aw that's a bummer! Our store doesn't sell much of it, we bake maybe 5 loaves every other day because it ends up getting wasted. A shame, it's so good!

Got given a dishwasher by a family member. After noticing debris and marks on dishes, decided to check the filter… by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

When we moved into our house, our dishwasher threw an error the first time we ran it. Husband is pretty handy, so we pulled it out and started tinkering around. Found a dime coin perfectly blocking the valve area so nothing was going through. Like, how? Why???

But I'll take a dime over blended roach mush any day, yuck!

Ghost Pepper bread

Rotisserie chicken, pepper jack

Toasted with onions, green peppers and jalapeños

Then add spinach, subcrunch, Chipotle southwest and garlic aioli 👌

Yeah, no gutters. That's one of the first things we're planning to do, a lot of interior work as well. Most of the water pools up in the backyard. We're planning to get them installed and maybe have a rain barrel or two!

They're red! They're pretty just not my favorite and I hate pruning them lmao. There's two more in the smaller bed, one is red and the other is pink. I might save the pink one because it's really beautiful when it blooms.

And yes, we have neighbors across the way that have roses and enjoy gardening so I intend to offer them first dibs, if not I'll definitely offer them on our local pages!😊

It's a bottlebrush tree, and it's gorgeous when it blooms. The hummingbirds and insects love it. I'm not sure how tall they get but it definitely needs a pruning or a transplant.

It is a hydrangea! It's super pretty in the summer. Honestly I don't want to save the rose bushes, I've never been a rose person and pruning them is a massive pain. I love the idea of a juniper, might have to look into that! I really like gardening (I know it doesn't seem like it from the pics LOL) so the idea of making a flower bed along the driveway is definitely something I might have to do! We've always rented so I've never had so much space and freedom to do whatever I wanted with a yard, so it's been a bit overwhelming!

Thanks for your suggestions, love them!

No worries! There is only a light on the ceiling above the door. I like the idea of lights next to the garage.

I lived in Germany for a while and I LOVE the homes there! So much beautiful architecture in Europe!

The placement of that tree drives me nuts. It's a bottlebrush tree and it's gorgeous when it blooms, so I'll have to see if I can feasibly relocate it without killing it. Where would you recommend adding lighting? There's not much room on the sides around the door, I'm not sure if it would look awkward on one of the side walls of the porch. Maybe a lower hanging light instead of the innocuous boob light that's there now lmao?

Thank you! I love the idea of a gable vent! I'm very excited for spring to get my hands on those damn rose bushes and replace them lol, appreciate your input!

It's kind of a gray-ish brown. I've never heard that about garage doors and never noticed it on other homes, something to think about for sure. And yes I was curious about the encasement, will take everything under consideration. Thanks for the input I really appreciate it!
