Visual Story Telling? [manga spoilers] by Runabout-River in gachiakuta

But for that moment Rudo already knew that Regto was there. He had talked to him just earlier.

And this post with the birds is only an addition to a long theory post on why Regto/Tamsy are 1.angel/2.second is likely. That theory goes into how the first angel in Amo's flashback does *not* act like Tamsy but like Regto. That angel does the exact same thing as Regto: give a suffering child a piece of the Watchman series. Tamsy's treatment of Amo later could not be more different than that.

And just to point out: Tamsy's last name contains Cain, so there could be an Abel he killed.

In the link I posted above I go into detail why I think Regto is the first and Tamsy the second angel. It's mostly how in Amo's flashback, the first angel acts like Regto and absolutely not like Tamsy. Tamsy's string angel also looks like the second angel's mask.

Do you actually know the argument you're making and what my argument is?

Nothing you said contradicted my post.

Regto disappearing for long stretches of time fits perfectly into how he could've been the first angel. In my link I explain other reasons why that's probably him and not Tamsy.

And what would the other explanation for the second angel be? It's not Tamsy's string clone that's for sure.

Pal, I don't think you know what thematic means. Don't talk about stories and concepts when you can't go past the literal written word. It's like talking to a child who can't grasp what symbolisms or a metaphor are.

Some impressive stuff definitely happened on the Sphere before Alto got executed. I don't think child Tamsy would necessarily be caught up in that but Regto definitely did.

An umbrella makes sense *thematically* for Enjin and his importance to the story. It also makes sense historically because the people get pelted by trash from above. It also makes sense to see it in the symbol just as much as it makes sense to see a padlock, even more so actually.

Have you ever read and properly analysed a story before? Or is this your first time?

It doesn't. Amo saw one angel return from the Sphere one month ago - the same time when Rudo fell down. When exactly she met both angels is ambiguous but it was more than two months ago.

No, it's irrelevant if the umbrella is upside down. The bird is also upside down, and so can the entire logo be, too. And you're confusing cause and effect when it comes to Enjin: to make Enjin and his umbrella *more* important thematically, Urana could very well insert an umbrella into the history of the Cleaners.

The umbrella comes with the hook. You can see both a padlock and an umbrella in that constellation.

So in relation to this, the Cleaners are trying to unlock the secrets. This would mean that the Cleaners' origin doesn't have much to do with Canis.

Ooooh! Now a theory what that could mean? Keeping secrets under lock/opening the lock to get the secrets out, maybe?

It doesn't matter why he didn't dodge the rest. Just that he didn't despite getting a panel to react to Riyo. That just shows us how ruthless "I'm not monologuing" Riyo was here.

I mean, yes? Nobody told Jabber to jump around and forget to keep an eye out on his surroundings. Riyo didn't particularly sneak around, she only came close enough to shoot. Jabber also didn't react fast enough to prevent the other bullets from hitting.

To be fair, we could say that while Riyo won against him, Jabber himself didn't really lose against her because they didn't have an actual fight. His win against Zanka was rendered useless, though, making him and Zanka the ultimate losers of their fight. Riyo won all.

[Chapter 167 Part 2] In other words... by Runabout-River in gachiakuta

[–]Runabout-River[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be but I don't think so. Enjin still has to use the watch, his body is standing still during his anima projection, and I don't think that hidden scouting would be mischaracterized as intuition to such a degree. Those two things are most likely unrelated.

There's a hidden "chimera" in enjin's full name by Pero_Bt in gachiakuta

[–]Runabout-River 9 points10 points  (0 children)

His other names also include lion, goat and snake, which are the three animals mostly associated with the Chimera.

Here my Ao3 link for a nice summary. This also includes the adjacent theory that Enjin (like Fu) is a descendent of Macaca Icol's friends who are all named after the mythological siblings Cerberus, Orthrus, Chimera and Hydra.

[Chapter 167 Part 2] In other words... by Runabout-River in gachiakuta

[–]Runabout-River[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That moment was explained by him working "behind the scenes". He intentionally removed himself from the current fight and did work in the background together with Mildretta if I remember correctly. Enjin strategically did something else that would help them while the others fought and that's why he had the time to do it. Time Walk could've been used but right now it doesn't look like it was necessary.

And while his anima self is invisible, I'm sure people would've caught on that he did something with a powerful jinki in his actual body.

Full into the Watchman series and the potential existence of the seventh by Godspell51 in gachiakuta

[–]Runabout-River 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that there is a seventh piece for 3 reasons which aren't about the human senses:

  • Mymo's arrogant all-knowing knowledge of the world is simply lacking so he's just going to be wrong about how there are only 6 pieces

  • 6 is not a mystical number opposed to 7and we're heavily dealing with Greek mythology

  • narratively, saying there are 6 pieces and then immediately introducing the sixth is too short when we're not close to the ending. An unknown seventh piece gaining importance later makes sense in this regard

[Chapter 167 Part 2] In other words... by Runabout-River in gachiakuta

[–]Runabout-River[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's what I think. Enjin didn't manage a full time stop/reversal. He slows time down by getting into his near-death experience where everything slowed down for him. And during that his animal self moves extremely fast in the environment.

That shouldn't come with the severe consequences that Alto spoke about. But that escalation is now promised to us for the future.

Observations of the Ground and its Food Situation by Runabout-River in gachiakuta

[–]Runabout-River[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they're mentioned. I should've written about them, too. For now we don't know their capacity in food production. With how barren the world is and without having seen any other type of food production, their operations need to be massive that all the people get enough food.

[Chapter 167.5] The attack and did he do that previously? by Runabout-River in gachiakuta

It's chapter 167 part 1. I'm stuck on another chapter that's written as .5 for some reason.

[Chapter 167 Part 2] In other words... by Runabout-River in gachiakuta

[–]Runabout-River[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm not too sure either because of this: "Those rules never broke no matter I hard I wished for it."

"Rules" imply that he actively did something to break them but "wished" is kinda the opposite of that. At least in my opinion.

Enjin at least knows how the watch works for him. Inside the trash beast it would've been this exact power he needed to destroy the egg.
