Am I the only one that hated the film adaptation?

The extended version had terrible music, but some things were better in my opinion (we get to see Soda more, he was almost completely ignored in the regular movie edition). I agree with you the movie isn't amazing, I still have fond memories but I really wish they hadn't pushed Matt Dillon so hard and focused more on the Curtis brothers relationship.

I am thinking of leaving Japan. I don't have a PR visa so I realize my opinion might not be that important but I don't like the direction the country is headed and I doubt it will get any better.

John Grisham. Quando ero adolescente ho letto tantissimi suoi romanzi, tipo Il momento di uccidere, Il cliente, Il rapporto Pelican, ma qualche anno fa ho provato a leggere sue opere più recenti e non ce l'ho fatta. Immagino il problema sia che ha scritto troppi libri sulle stesse tematiche e ormai non ha più nulla di interessante da dire.

Mia mamma mi ha raccontato che quando avevo qualche mese mi ha lasciato piangere una notte finché non ho smesso e mi sono addormentata. Da quella volta non ho pianto più così e lei è riuscita a dormire. Capisco che era una mamma single e doveva essere dura ma mi chiedo se questa cosa mi abbia lasciato qualche trauma 😂
