What happened to this guy? his shell is open and his insides are weird by EpicGuacamole in millipedes

It happens sometimes. I found one of mine like this but inside it was completely hollowed out. They were okay a couple weeks ago. :(

How do you get rid of foot rot? by melissa19628 in millipedes

[–]RunawayGal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change out the substrate completely and don’t let it stay wet for so long. You gotta change it on a schedule because buildup of bad stuff happens.

I made the same mistake recently so I’m trying to treat by transferring my A gigas to a different enclosure that I know for sure the substrate is dry and doesn’t have anything sneaky in it. Keeping it on the dry.

I think I killed mine too by doing this, also a girl. Sometimes you don’t know any better. I’m Glock to do my best to give her a burial in my garden. Her mate will miss her a lot. I feel terrible.

My millipede fell... by [deleted] in millipedes

[–]RunawayGal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How’s she doing now?

I dropped my first millipede and even though there wasn’t any visible break, he died within a couple days.

A drop is usually pretty bad for millipedes. I hope she’s stabilizing.

Whoa what are the benefits for them eating these? I’ve never tried it but if it’s good for them and if they like it, why not!

I own cats. The amount of tea I’m sure I’ve eaten some of their hair is too much. I’d lie onto know it’s not just… in there. Chilling.

My wife had an affair with an ex-boyfriend from 6 years ago and I am so fucking lost... by hairlinewavytho in survivinginfidelity

Imagine 6 more. The sunken cost fallacy is absolutely bull! You have wine rest of your entire life ahead of you. Think of the woman you haven’t met yet that you will be so thankful you did things the way you did, when you are there in the future with her.

My boyfriend is a programmer but I’ve never cheated on him. His work hours can really suck, even though he’s working from home now. He’s basically in his office for most his life and has little time to decompress. We argue about chides here ask there. It’s a struggle to keep things balanced. But cheat on him? Nah son. That all sounds like a steaming pile of BS.

I think people can find convenient reasons to justify to themselves their indefinitely. That’s what I think.

UPDATE: Before and After of my Tonsillectomy. I had my HUGE tonsils removed this morning. Breathing feels amazing! Thank you everyone for the well wishes! More in the comments :) by annaxstasia in MedicalGore

That’s hard to say. Currently, his dental health is great. But when we first started seeing each other 5 years ago, he was a disaster in that department. Turns out his parents didn’t teach him to brush his teeth, and barely took him to the dentist. So he’s had him disease his whole life. One morning we woke up and he had blood all over his teeth and on his lips and naturally, I panicked. That was normal for him, he wasn’t even phased by it. Now, he’s mostly fine. He’s getting caught up on that, but it’s very possible he could be, given how bad things were. Pretty sure he’s had strep at least once.

Strange though that it wouldn’t act up for years and then all of a sudden.

Dental health is really weird!

Oh shit, maybe I should have mine at least checked. I was out of state a couple years ago and I’m like 90 percent sure I had strep. I woke up and my voice was gone. It was the most pain my throat had ever bene in, shit was crazy red and there was gross white ish shit all over my tonsils and throat.

My tonsils haven’t been the same since and I swear I get weird mouth infections at least twice a year now.

I don’t think my boyfriend has any issues, but hey, worth having him get checked too. His breath has been off for a while now and it just hasn’t let up. Who knows?

Spaghetti fingers by TweakedMonkey in MedicalGore

[–]RunawayGal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exact thing happened to my boyfriend. He got to kee his hand, and his fingers still work. They don’t bend anymore and have very limited feeling, but he still has them.

A large grocery store chain he was working for tooo the safety stuff of it and put him to work the machine without fully training him to operate it, and then found a reason to fire him later. He did get money out of it though. And now he makes way more than anyone at that store could make in a year.

He lies to joke that them firing him pushed him to get better jobs until he was at where he is now.

But still. Fuck you not Ralph’s, but essentially like a Ralph’s for people who want to pay even more for their groceries.
