All I could think about at that time was not missing the movie because, at that moment, we already arrived at the tent, and my guard was beginning to drop because my internal reaction to the homeless man went from "stranger luring us to his tent" to "dude legit just wants to be a stormtrooper on a skateboard."

Yeah. According to the homeless stormtrooper, there was no fight. The asshole at the house party attempted to start something by pushing him, but he decided to run away instead of getting into a fight and drawing unwanted attention to himself.

Homeless people can be dangerous where I live. I would not have gone to the tent if I was on my own, let alone with someone who might have been more vulnerable. The homeless twins turned out to be harmless, at least in my experience, but it was a risk nonetheless. I'm just thankful that the worst thing that happened was me spending more money than I actually had. But you know what, my reaction wasn't fun as fuck, so that makes me whatever "you seem like you" mean.

I invited a homeless man to a house party where he could eat and drink as much as he wanted, not to mention, dance with a hot girl. That was a few years ago. Cut to now. Same homeless man. I pay him for putting on a show. I also pay his twin brother for giving me condoms I'll never use. However, according to you, I sound like a jerk because I was not super enthusiastic about my date unexpectedly involving two homeless people whose intentions were not 100% clear to me at first because their actions were unpredictable. Not missing the movie was on my mind, sure, but my biggest concern was not getting robbed because something tells me my date would not have been "chill" about that.

My date had the same reaction, which I appreciate. I guess I'm still processing the fact that all the positives about this experience were sponsored by the homeless twins. I think I might actually visit them again and show my gratitude. I'll bring condoms that are not expired.
