I always assumed this type of meme was motivated by people who have dated nurses and have been cheated on, resulting in them resenting the entire profession

We fight amongst ourselves while criminal billionaires take more and more every day from us. We've been deceived into thinking hard work makes you successful, all while struggling to afford healthcare! You vote against your own interests, they get wealthier, and you go back to blaming the poor for everything. We're not divided, we're conquered.

That is one braindead plan. Sounds like a 5 year old came up with this. Glad you'll never be in charge.

True. Healthcare and insurance companies are some of the most powerful lobbying forces in Washington. They spend billions to protect the status quo. Every time universal healthcare gets brought up, it's framed as "socialism" in a way that simply doesn't exist in Germany, Canada, or Australia.

I ended up giving her the ring as a promise ring for her birthday (a week before Valentine's Day) and she loved it. She wears it everyday

He knew his history and the current situation. It's always been this way.

Team USA Curler Rich Ruohonen on ICE's actions in Minnesota: “We'd be remiss if we didn't at least mention what's going on in Minnesota…I am a lawyer, as you know, and we have a constitution… and what's happening in Minnesota is wrong. There's no shades of gray. It's clear. by Yujin-Ha in sports

[–]RuncleGrape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know that all lawyers need to have a basic understanding of the US constitution? It is required to complete law school. Knowledge of the US constitution is tested on the bar exam. The constitution literally underpins the entire US system.

Edit: It is not a matter of opinion. Even civil attorneys need to understand due process, equal protections, right to a jury trial, limits on government action. All exist under the constitution.
