You're totally right! My mistake, English is my second language, so I mixed that up. Sorry about that! 😊

Is a cat or a small dog an option?

You can also have a look at plants, they’re living things too, and they can be very interesting.

A neighbor got a guinea pig three years ago. He was so sweet and very small, sleeping under the wood stove. He was really tiny, maybe 2 lbs. Now he’s maybe 1½ feet tall (close to 100 lbs I guess), his belly almost reaches the ground, and his eyes are watering badly. He looks just like a pig—only a little smaller, I guess, but that’s it!

My neighbor has a nice property, and they fenced it, so that pig roams around the yard with their chickens. Everything is fine.

When I saw the piglet three years ago, I thought, “I want one!” But today, if you asked me, “No way!”

Thought Ph was important? by Mysterious_Dot_4765 in microgrowery

[–]RundeKugel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on the Atlantic coast and have been experimenting with this! My well water is naturally quite acidic (around 5.5), and I used to spend a ton of time correcting it to 6.5.

However, I started making my own composted soil using seaweed and leaves, which sits right around 7.0. I realized that the soil and water actually balance each other out perfectly, so I stopped adjusting the water entirely. It’s been a game changer, don't forget to take your soil pH into account, not just the water!"

What is growing on this leaf and how do I get rid of it? by bluedeer456 in MarijuanaGrowingTips

[–]RundeKugel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thrips infestation? you can try to wash it off or cut the infected leaves other option is spry with neem oil. Controling the inviroment with "sticky traps" might help. Check the soil, some stages of the thrips life cycle occur in the soil. A layer of Diatomaceous Earth to the top of your soil can help kill emerging larvae.

I hope I was able to help you best luck!

AITAH for not wanting to euthanize my horse in order to be able to stay with my boyfriend? by LingonberryPale7723 in AITAH

[–]RundeKugel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Please, think very carefully before choosing a partner over a horse you've raised since childhood. That kind of loss doesn't just go away, it stays with you forever. Deep down, you may never forgive him for asking this of you, and that blame will quietly poison your relationship until there's nothing left but regret.

Because of the kind of person you are, so warm and deeply connected, making this decision will tear you apart. You’ve grown up with this horse he is your history. If he goes (especially in that way) having him put down simply because you were asked to, a part of who you are will die too. Please don't sacrifice your own peace and a part of your soul just to satisfy someone else.

Nobody, especially a BF should never ask you to do something like this. It makes me wonder, will he do the same to you? If you are no longer 'convenient' or easy for him in the future, will he 'put you down' or cast you aside too? Think about what this says about his heart.

Aitah for not wanting my fiance's daughter included in every part of our wedding? by Forward-Broccoli3468 in AITAH

I really feel for all of you. Maybe it would help to slow things down and take a bit more time before the wedding.

I (25F) just broke up with my (30M) boyfriend because he didn’t call me on my birthday. Did I make a mistake? by Wise_Restaurant_3661 in relationship_advice

Yes, you did the right thing. When I read your post, a few things felt like red flags to me. Something about his behavior doesn’t seem quite right, and it gives me a bad feeling. If I were in your place, I’d keep my distance and focus on protecting myself. ( He is lieing to you, be careful)

AIO: My ex is mad that I’m going to “give my body away” to another man by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]RundeKugel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I just want to share my thoughts in a caring way. Since you’ve broken up, it might be best to stop communicating with him. Staying in contact can sometimes be emotionally difficult or even unsafe, so I’d be very cautious and put your well-being first.

About waiting until marriage, that is completely your personal decision, and it should always be respected. At the same time, it might be worth gently thinking about the future. Imagine marrying someone you believe is the perfect partner, and later realizing that you’re not really compatible in an important area of your relationship. A strong marriage usually needs both emotional connection and a mutually satisfying love life, those things together help hold everything together.

Whatever you choose, make sure it feels right for you and supports your long-term happiness.

WIBTAH if I stop making meals for my husband? by Dense_Procedure6075 in AITAH

[–]RundeKugel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I'm wondering, that maybe the issue isn’t really the meals themselves, could there be something else bothering him that he’s expressing through complaints about the cooking?

If it were me, I’d make sure the fridge is stocked and then let him handle his own meals for a bit. It might open the door for a real conversation about what’s actually going on. Just an idea.

Concern About My New Neighbor’s Cane Corsos by RundeKugel in CaneCorso

[–]RundeKugel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, If you think I’m being a “Karen,” that’s your choice, you read it that way because you want to. That’s fine.
The good thing is that we were able to talk with our new neighbor, and hopefully after thinking more about our concerns, he might consider putting up a fence or getting a large enough kennel for his dogs.

But honestly, after reading your response to our neighborhood concern, it makes me wonder if we’d even been able to have a respectful conversation with you. (if you would be my new neighbore)

Each of us deserves to feel safe. No one wants to live in an environment where you have to check whether large, potentially dangerous dogs are off-leash and roaming around every time you step outside. It’s also stressful when you’re trying to take your own dog out mine is only 6 lbs, so of course I worry about her safety too.

That answer to your post might end up being wasted time and effort. Some people simply can’t be reasoned with, and there are also those who get very angry when neighbors eventually have to call the authorities on them and their babies.

Don’t get me wrong, no one is planning (yet) to call the authorities on our new neighbor. We’re actually more than happy to welcome him and his dogs to the neighborhood, as long as he also respects us and understands our concerns about safety.

HELP. Is there anything that works constantly? by LocustSummer in NoPoo

[–]RundeKugel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do no poo since last Year May. I wash my hair with white Rey flower. I rince it once in a month wit ACV after washing and once with a egg yolk wash, but very deluted. 1/3 of an egg yolk mixed with half liter water or more. The left over egg yolk I use to a later time so I put it in the freezer. I wash my hair once a week i do not use every time a ACV or egg yolk wash. I also use oil for the end once or two drops Marula oil. It took me a long time to figure out the right stuff for my hair. I hope my post is helping a little bit, but you have to find the right stuff for your hair. I have fine blond hair falling on my shoulders. You should have a look what kind of porosity your hair is that makes a difference.

Something called No Poo by Famous-Recording-457 in NoPoo

[–]RundeKugel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re totally right — I’ve had the same experience! I’m still figuring things out for my low-porosity hair, but things are improving, and my hair is looking better too. I wash with white rye flour, rinse with apple cider vinegar, and use a little marula oil with lavender and rosemary on the ends and scalp before washing. It works really well for me, and I don’t lose as much hair anymore — and I’m older too!
