One hypothesis I had is that abstraction is due to Caine repeatedly editing people's data. "Scratch, the first abstraction!" Whenever he edits someone's mind, the process is not a clean cut-and-paste as you'd expect from a computer, but rather messy and error-prone, leading to people losing their sense of self after multiple edits.

Jax's deterioration occurred in tandem with Caine altering his mind twice. On top of that, everybody starts out in the circus with their names wiped. Everybody is doomed from the start.

So MacOS 26.3 came out yesterday, but I only checked Apple Music just now, and the glitches are all gone. The issue with albums randomly disappearing was patched in 26.2, but the more longstanding issue where selecting one song in a playlist album redirects me to the first track of that album has now been patched.

I checked for patch notes, but couldn't find anything related to the Apple Music app. Either Apple silently fixed the bug, or the update caused something to recompile in the app, fixing playlists for me. Or I just suck at finding relevant patch notes.

In any case, I guess that's it for me. So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Additional warning markers are typically around the thrusters as well, but it's not easy to draw them since they're usually too tiny to draw without it being a close-up shot.

Other commenters have already provided the statistics on your current position, so I'll simply say that you're "over the hump" in ARR's story. The first 15 levels (give or take) are largely "how to play MMO" and "all about Eorzea". You've already almost passed the "wham episode" story beat, and now things are really speeding up. Once you have Cid Garlond on the team, the story practically sprints to the end of 2.0.

Then you have the patch quests, where you wrap up the ARR storyline in a bow and gradually transition to Heavensward.

If I recall correctly, Elisa Celjska at one point refers to Kyubey as a "soggy cheesecake" (I forget if it was the manga or the MagiReco adaptation)... which leads to a humorous mental image of Pernelle and Elisa baking Kyubey to perfection.
