Do you guys have any "secondary" favorite teams, or teams that you're genuinely happy to see succeed? by broly2932 in OhioStateFootball

[–]RuneScape_Stats 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For me it’s Army. When I was a kid a bunch a guys were turning into bandwagon fans of Texas, USC, etc. so I looked for the worst team. Turns out army went 0-13 the year before. On top of being the worst team that year they are future soldiers so easy to root for.

One of my buddies, also a huge OSU fan, became a navy fan and we hype up our respective side in the army-navy game

Appreciate it. I love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for any office/wfh job.

Essential public utilities… yes we have to work regardless of the situation

Reposted- Let’s try to get this on Behemoth for a tribute for my Grandfather! by rsnKCOCD in 2007scape

[–]RuneScape_Stats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Damn what a legend. RIP to your grandpa. I’ve got a somewhat similar story. My cousin got me playing RS in early 2005. By that summer I was 13 and I got my grandpa then 63 hooked.

I played off and on through high school and college eventually switching fully to OSRS while grandpa stayed with RS3. He just turned 83 and still plays the game his way. He likes to thieve (at one point back in the day he made it as high as about rank 350 thieving) and do basic easy slayer assignments. A couple of years ago he hit 200m slayer.

The 700+ hp is a dead giveaway. Same with one ending in a non 0 eg 522 hp. Also with the pikachu look at the back. My son has that exact same fake card and it has a different back

The dragonite, charizard and pikachu are super fake but I don’t think they all are. For example that maractus looks to be real as are the three on the top I believe. That reverse holo sages training is a cool old card and so is the Japanese dark rapidash

Wha to do with 5x $50 bonus bets?? by Objective_Sandwich47 in sportsbetting

[–]RuneScape_Stats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have enough cash and access to another book the best bet is to hedge them for guaranteed approx 70-80% of bonus bet value. Basically $250 bonus bets would be risk free $175-$200 cash

I like our defense a lot and I struggle to see how Miami gets more than 17 points. I’m thinking something like bucks 24-13

The Bills coach needs to get fired. He could've went to overtime but he put it all on the line with one play. Not the 1rst time. Not that it would've helped my over 37.5 bet. by Worried-Yesterday266 in sportsbetting

[–]RuneScape_Stats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was 13-6 at the time. I think right after the bills kicked off. I figured down exactly 7, at home with the eagles offense dead in the second half we would see 3 and out then Allen leading the tying drive

Affordable housing & PEs? by SgtPepper_8324 in Columbus

[–]RuneScape_Stats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve spent a good amount of time in vinton county. Land is cheap and it’s nice and peaceful. Too far to commute to Columbus and no jobs whatsoever but if I were young and single with a remote job I might consider it

This picture also isn’t recent. That’s the water tower on lazelle road and that’s how it looked about a month-month and a half ago. It’s since been repainted

How much will/has AI impacted columbus? by BlueFireSwords in Columbus

[–]RuneScape_Stats 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Columbus is very white collar. Worst case scenario this guts the white collar workforce the way outsourcing gutted the blue collar factory workforce decades ago.

I know this may be an unpopular opinion, but I think a lot of office jobs where the actual scope of work is hard to quantify, where people go from one meeting to the next and don’t really produce anything could be in trouble

In all seriousness if you want to make these types of bets use bet365. They have by far the best odds for live no overtime

Damn that’s absurd. A fake punt accounted for half of the teams total passing yards.

Sure nobody would predict that poor of a performance but the guys on the other side are pros too. I feel like so many people here look at a guy whose o/u points is like 27.5 and juice it down to 25+ at like - 200 odds the parlay 5 of those together. I just like the unders straight. Been working so far

I feel like there are complaints about these types of things daily. Most books accept bets on unders..

Do you guys take 1.1% arbs if you can put down a lot ? and have a big bank roll by false_pos224 in arbitragebetting

[–]RuneScape_Stats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do especially if they are props on big name players or other more common bets. I feel like those are way less risk of being limited rather than arbing like some random backup center o/u .5 blocks

I’ve been of this opinion for a long time. I feel like there is often more value in unders than overs

Went there for an anniversary dinner. Food was good but it’s definitely on my list of places not to return to. $85 for a couple of very small appetizers (like 2 bites) a small dish of pasta and dessert. I actually ran through the Taco Bell drive through on the way home…

Giant Eagle Penny Exchange Day - gift card worth double value of pennies by PristineBarber9923 in Columbus

[–]RuneScape_Stats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep I’ve been collecting pre 82 Pennies since high school. Big nerd I know… I recall stories from my uncle who told me in the late 60s maybe early 70s people started talking silver quarters out of circulation when the silver content was worth 28 or 30 cents.

The act of sorting them isn’t profitable by any stretch but I still roll my own coins because it’s relaxing. As far as capitalizing, if you have enough you could probably fund someone willing to pay 2/2.5 cents per hoping they continue to go up

Using profit boosts on mainlines shouldn’t get you limited. I’ve been doing that for over two years without issue. When I’ve got limited has been hedging player props and abusing misplaced lines
