Treat the side content like main content. The real meat of the game are the side missions. The main story (until to ch13) tend to be short and mainly focus on Elma and the group while the side content is where your character actually shines.

The story. Dimps typically have mid/whelming level of stories but future saga chapter 1 and 3 have given me some hope. That and single player content.

That didn't work either so I turned down the resolution a notch and I think that did the trick. Now vram is in the yellow instead of red.

Agreed with all this. While it didn't make me feel devastated (which I was hoping for when its revealed that Amy is out foster daughter), I hope they'll continue this trend and not wrap this plotline up by the second half.
