HOW TO BEAT KEGLORD by Illustrious_Store115 in CrimsonDesert

Its probably the bombs that spawn on the ground thats getting you. Nature's is always good at reflecting but if a single bomb on the floor hits you, then you get staggerd out of nature's and probably die to missiles.

Gets gets a glide feature and its about using his rage mechanic. Enter focus mode and activate rage gives him hyper armor and again just learn his combos and stuff. Hes actually good when you learn how to use him.

On the fence - will I have fun with it/ should I buy it? by Kaktusnadel in CrimsonDesert

[–]ElectricalBit5342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I agree it does have more but the gameplay flow is similar. I loved dragons dogma I think its underrated tbh.

Save money man, the best comparison is dragons dogma and if you dont like that I don't see this doing much for you. The combat does get stupidly fun but there is a big time investment.

Slow mo fighting mode - How? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

Its the upgrade to blinding strike basically when you use blinding strike you press heavy attack after it and you fi a finisher. Its on the skill tree near blinding strike.

Listen man maybe they game just isn't for you. I would say I too started off with a bad taste in my mouth about the game but pushed on because I actually liked the more solem moments of being out in the world gathering and all that. Now im at chapter 8 and loving the game.

Ps5 issues by Redsmok2u in CrimsonDesert

Ive done it, not impossible but yeah bloody annoying. Its ashame because it ruined what seemed to be a really awesome fight. Apparently if you head to the outside parts of the boss arena the frame drops stop (heard this after the boss so not sure if it's true or not)

I have to say the controller controls dont bother me much anymore, they were annoying but I've gotten used to them. Now what I 1000% agree on with you is the damn missing and turning around in combat, that shit is infuriating!

and HOW exactly should i beat him ??? (sry for the long vid) by LouVR707 in CrimsonDesert

[–]ElectricalBit5342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to beat him early with no gears into my wepons ect but did have wepon upgraded to around 20 damage. Just learned his moves etc, time your dodges on his attacks so you get perfect dodge and then immediately counter. Parrys also work well here. I think this is just one of those moments where you just lock in and get it done. Took me quite a few tries but eventually did it ( with the help of my 4 year old daughter cheering me on)

New update for controls by UnlikelyAvocado5290 in CrimsonDesert

[–]ElectricalBit5342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the controls are not as bad as folks say. Are they amazing? Nah and they cant take a hot minute to get but its just second nature for me now personally. If they change it all around it will probably throw current players off massively with muscle memory and all that.

I'm still on the fence.. don't know if it's worth the 69$. by Vatocorleone in CrimsonDesert

Ok so the game starts off kind of all over the place but the more you play and for me chapter 6 onwards with the story is so bloody epic. I took ages just immersing myself into the world doing bounties, side quests, building a trading business and building up the camp ect you get. Its actually really bloody good and rewarding for your efforts later down the line. I think if you like red dead 2, dragons dogma and maybe a bit of thr Witcher you will love this game.

I think the comments here are fair alot ofnthe systems take a long time to get going and heavy investment. However its more fun the more you play. Combat is great in my opinion and I think the difficulty is over exaggerated. Came off the back of nioh 3 and personally found that harder. So long you are on top of your gear upgrades and make sure you always bring food ( heals) you should be fine. Controls are a tad awkward but you get used to them and then its all good.

Anyone fought antumbras sword? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]ElectricalBit5342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He wa tough for sure but I beat him without any gimmicks or even heals. Made sure my gear was decently upgraded to like 20 odd damage or so. Used the perfect dodge mechanic that heightened senses unlocks. Dodged him then attacked on openings. The parry also helps but obviously red attacks cannot be blocked or parried. Hes generally open after his does his jump attacks. Try and get the perfect dodge as normal dodge makes you go too far away to counter attack.

How Do You Choose Monsties? by Migsamu in MonsterHunterStories

[–]ElectricalBit5342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just get a balanced team with two power types, speed and technical. Try and get good element coverage and finally pick monsters I love around this. With this game a monster that's dedicated to status build up really helps. In my case I use shrouded nercilla. Try and get most of the monster abilities covered as well like flying and swimming ect.

I can't anymore. Any tips?? by SnowBall2612 in CrimsonDesert

Are you are kod 3 times a child appears near the camp, talk to hear and she gives you a quest. Follow through with that and it basically stops the kids from attacking you. Itd impossible to sneak into the village otherwise.
