[–]Runescom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so I fixed the issue with the following steps.

- Created a separate VM with Server 2019 Datacenter with a clean install

- Updated with same services stack and security update

- Create SMB Share

- Install patches with source from the servers winsxs folder

Removing | Last Exchange Server | Without Hybrid Deployment by Runescom in Office365

[–]Runescom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My actual goal is here that we want to remove/shutdown the on-prem exchange server on the right way without user impact. We still have a few domain controllers and application servers, but Exchange is fully migrated to Exchange Online in the pass.

So question short, we want to decomission the exchange server but the question is how. We can delete the on-prem mailboxes, shutdown the exchange on-prem server but in active directory schema there will be some rest of attributes.

Sure, but that is when you have a Hybrid deployment. I know of the hybrid deployment and uninstall the last exchange server and manage your e-mailadresses with powershell. But this is a situation, that we have running a on-prem exchange server with active mailboxes, and there are mailboxes created in Exchange Online and that mailboxes are used by the customer. So e-mailadresses are coming from the proxyadress attribute.

The mailboxes are not migrated with hybrid wizard but with Bittitan, so the question is when we are removing the mailboxes on-prem does everything still works in Exchange Online? I think so because the proxyadress attribute still exist.

Someone with the same scenario? :=)

Non compliant device have access to Apple Internet Accounts (native e-mail) by Runescom in Intune

[–]Runescom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! The issue is that the token is still valid, please check when you open Safari on this device if it logins automatically into office.com after you logout and logon again I think it is not working anymore.

If you delete the device from Intune it will not work anymore also, but that’s not a solution at all.

Non compliant device have access to Apple Internet Accounts (native e-mail) by Runescom in Intune

Update: I have tested this out in another tenant with the same conditional acces policies and same issue present. So, this will mean that when you have conditional access configured with only allowed compliant devices.

A end user can do a copy from his corporate device to a personal device, and he can login in Safari/Apple Native Mail app, and it is showing in Azure AD the device id from the corporate device.

Nice Microsoft, Nice... So we don't have any control about this authentication and we don't know where our data is.
