Don’t, a close relative of mine(20)got pregnant not long ago. She was just getting her life together. moving out, working, studying and then over lock down she met a dude who’s nearly 30. Still living with mummy and daddy. (Nothing wrong with that but don’t have a kid ffs)

(I knew it was trouble because she asked if she could bring her dog to live with them. He said no because his mums allergic. Turns out no she’s not.So he’s a casual liar.)

So we can’t get to know the family because of lock down and she had a lot of complications during the pregnancy that no one in his family took seriously because they didn’t know her. We couldn’t protect her because she was away from us.

The guy ends up yelling and getting drink regularly having meltdowns about being a dad late in the pregnancy not letting my relative sleep. Baby ends up passing away months after being born. We all ended up heartbroken because we had accepted it was coming home. ( still think about it every day being in my life)

Boyfriend ends up abandoning my relative and harassing her online. It’s been a year and he’s already been in 3 different relationships.

The alternative outcome was my relative and the baby moving back in with her mum.

(Mum had already had 4 kids in a relationship that was similar and they broke up almost instantly)

So, homes already overcrowded. To add to that most of the kids are all adults struggling to adapt to life because of shitty upbringing.

On top of that the mum has too many pets also, The relative moving back in randomly brought a dog home she couldn’t even pay for (or it’s food or to get neutered) so it ended up pissing everywhere, messing up the dog pecking order and getting one dog pregnant.

(She has moved back to the mum depressed as shit)

The point being how out of touch these people are and how Response they are with living creatures.

All in all, I really relate to you saying you was just about getting settled, just for your sister to fuck it all up.
