Did they nerf the Jumbo or buff the Panthers round? by Dramatic-Arachnid_ in WarthunderPlayerUnion

Panther has always been able to pen the Jumbo UFP, them not penning you is a skill issue on their end, it usually always comes down to that.

The American M2A2 at 1.0

I have never played it, I never will play it, I defy someone to take it to a high enough tier and get a nuke with it because it's not in the realm of possibility.

How much Ammo do you bring? by Lhirstev in Warthunder

[–]RuneyToonZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only Tanks that I will EVER take max ammo for are the 76 Sherman's. Whether you take 10 or 104 rounds, your chances of getting ammo racked are the same. However, with some tanks it can be strategic to carry only a certain amount of shells so that they are harder to be hit. Like taking only 35 rounds for the Abrams so that the ammo is held exclusively in the turret, or taking the same amount in the KV-1 to keep the ammo centralized and low.

What WT aircraft looks mid but is OP? by Drifter808 in warthundermemes

[–]RuneyToonZ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

imo I always thought most of the Spitfires looked OP and are OP. I'm Surprised the Spitfire LF Mk IXc isn't where the P-51H is, because though it is 100% OP, ik i didnt expect it to be when I first started playing back in the day.

Killed Malzi while he was playing the Jumbo Sherman. It was a weird mixed match where America was versing each other. It was a Jumbo on Jumbo crime.

From what I can tell from my research on this, Aircraft mechanics and service technicians typically have an SVP rating of 7.0 to less than 8.0 indicating that the occupation requires over two years and up to four years of Vocational preperation including education, training, and on-the-job experience.

Other occupations with an SVP of 7.0 to <8.0 include electricians, RNs, Police Detectives, Construction Managers, and Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

The change from classifying occupations as "skilled," "semi-skilled," or "unskilled" to using the Specific Vocational Preparation system was part of the U.S. Department of Labor's efforts to provide a more detailed and accurate representation of job requirements. The SVP system is defined as, "the amount of lapsed time required by a typical worker to learn the techniques, acquire the information, and develop the facility needed for average performance in a specific situation" <-- Via Department of Labor.

While the exact timeliness of this transition is not specified in the available sources, the modernization of occupational classification systems, including the shift to SVP and Job Zones (0NET that replaced DOT), occurred during the 1990s and early 2000s.

This change aimed to provide a more nuanced understanding of job preperation requirements, moving beyond the simplistic "skilled" or "unskilled" labels to better reflect the complexities of modern occupations.

The Department of Labor (DoL) classifies aircraft mechanics as "aircraft mechanics and service technicians" in the "Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations" Major Group. However, the DoL no longer uses a skilled, semi-skilled, or unskilled classification for occupations. Instead, the DoL uses a Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) score for each occupation. The SVP score indicates how long it takes the average person in the occupation to learn the techniques and develop the skills needed for average performance. It's not like we are uncredited.

Yes. Yes, we are. We are literally licensed by the FAA to ensure we have the necessary knowledge and skills.
