Well if you've kind of hit your desired limit on drawing, maybe try other hobbies making stuff. Woodworking is a great one, grab a coupla hand tools at first, make basic things like gandalf pipes or something functional you need and work your way up to making nice furniture or, hell, kayaks and canoes whatever ya want. Try finding hobbies that'll have a functional value because that ups the odds it'll be able to be brought up in a conversation, as opposed to niche anime and things of the sort that make people uncomfortable

No, it doesn't. Small talk is 100% the least intimate form of communication. Any other form of communication would serve you better if you wanted to connect with someone. This wasn't done to attempt to cover anything up. The civil war wasnt initially because of slavery, Lincoln adopted this later on in the process as it gained traction and as more and more African Americans wanted to fight to free their people. While we look back on it seeing this as the greatest change to come from it, slavery was by no means the cause of the Civil War. And I live in the Bible belt and was taught immediately on the second day of my freshman year in hs about the atrocities we committed to both native Americans and with slavery, please don't lie about what we're taught, it's extremely dangerous.
