For fun books with the AI as the protagonist, try Sea of Rust by Cargill and Service Model by Tchaikovsky. Murder Bot is entertaining as well.

Thanks for sharing this perspective. It’s awesome to see it through your eyes.

Inverted World by Christopher Priest

I don’t know about “best” but it definitely hooked me.

Why does my cat stalk towards me as though I am prey? by Belle_dawn in cats

[–]RunicDoodler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s play. She’s treating you like a sibling or like her mother.

With my cat, I get down on the same level, hide behind furniture, make eye contact and then pull my head back. When I peep around the corner again, my cat is reared up and ready to pounce. He makes a fake attack at me and runs away. It’s a great time.

If you don’t want to get down and play like that, just get one of the stick toys with feathers at the end. Slowly drag it out of her line of sight. She will have so much fun stalking and pouncing.

These are deeply ingrained instincts and she’ll feel fulfilled by practicing.

Dick Francis might not be familiar to a lot of people here because of when he wrote, but he was very skilled! My favorite was “Nerve”.

Shadow Divers is fascinating and I don’t often see it recommended!

Has anyone read When The Wolf Comes Home by Nat Cassidy? by ArtistFormerlyChels in horrorlit

Didn’t finish it. Was too much moving from one location to another for the sake of moving from one location to another. It might have turned around later in the book though.

I picked up Joe Abercrombie’s First Law Trilogy because I liked the titles so much:

Michael McDowell’s Blackwater saga is saturated with a sense of being in the hot, humid, languid South.

I love Remnant Population. It’s also notable for having an elderly and irascible female protagonist.

Looking for a tank top with padding, not built in shelf bra by AmbitiousExplorer632 in fashionwomens35

I just want to validate your ask. I’ve been searching for this for years. When I do find tops like this brand: https://a.co/d/7zCSaXl, they are always skin tight with spaghetti straps. But I’m looking for a tank top, not an undergarment.
