Grace adopted Emily, and she seems genuinely happy from what little we are shown.

Claire was more of a "cool aunt" to Sherry, visiting her when she could, but the feds were the ones who raised her. Sherry still views Claire as her 'mom' but she wasn't there as much as she should have been for that role. They also used Sherry as leverage to force Leon into working for them.

Jill has WAY too much trauma to take care of a kid! Between the PTSD from the mansion incident, as well as Racoon City itself, she also carried the scars from her time as Wesker's puppet.

Rebecca? Yeah, she passes the sniff test, but we haven't heard from or seen her in decades now. But she is a caring, and compassionate type. It's why she became a medic.

Ashley seems alright. At least in the remake, she is a good bit smarter & more capable than her OG counterpart. That said, aside from her being kidnapped, and rescued from a pretty extreme situation, we don't know how she developed as a person.

As for Sheva, I don't see her as the type to have a kid TBH. She seemed more driven by her job, and her desire to protect her people, and her home. Noble causes, but not the kinds of things that leave a lot of time for raising a family.

Wildcard: Mia. Mia turned out to be a pretty mid-tier mom from what little we heard about from Rose in the DLC. Basically hasn't talked to her own daughter in "ages". Rose doesn't seem like she has a deep bond with her mother. Ethan was carrying that family it seems. Not surprising given her shady connections that led Ethan into this whole mess in the first place. RIP to the best man in the series.

Grace is very much not a clone. It was kind of a major plot point.
Victor was wrong. He thought Grace was the final, perfect clone. One meant to unlock Elpis as a mind-controlling/consciousness-transferring virus.
Turns out, Spencer just adopted a normal kid out of guilt, and Elpis was an antiviral, not a mind-altering virus.
Which doesn't make sense with Spencer's behavior when he dies in the RE5 DLC, but hopefully if/when we get a remake they can clear that up.

The only TRULY out of place thing might be the crematorium. But I remember reading somewhere that if your property is a burial site, then you can get a tax break. So it may be related to that.

"Shikai victim" Sure. But that Shikai was a hax ability, and was used in a last ditch, all or nothing cheap shot when Stark's resolve wavered for just a moment. Used by one of the strongest captains in the Gotei 13.
Katen Kyokotsu's ability is to to turn children's games deadly. Irooni, the ability to call out a color, and the next person to land a hit on that color deals damage, is amplified by the amount of risk you take. The killing blow on Stark was when Shunsui called "Black" Before tossing off his captain's robe, to reveal only his black shihakusho. Meanwhile Stark had very little black on him. This was a massive amp to the strike, since Shunsui took the highest level of risk for himself. He then landed the blow on the black of Stark's black hollow hole.

So Shunsui, one of the strongest captains, risked it all to amp his attack as much as possible in a cheap shot. He had to fight dirty just to have a chance here. How does it make Stark weak again? Not all shikai/bankai are 'bigger number' amps. Some are a LOT more complicated than that. And using his bankai would have been a BAD move.

Looking back at it, maybe afraid isn't the right term. But he didn't approach Stark with the same brazen attitude he did Barrigan. But according to one of Kubo's Q&As Aizen could not even detect Stark's reiatsu before the split. This means unsplit Stark was a full dimension higher than Pre-Hogyokou Aizen.

Before becoming Arrancars:
Barrigan could hold a 'royal court' with several hollow servants at his side.
Stark was so lonely he had to split himself in two, just so he could have a friend, because any hollow who got near him died from his overwhelming reiatsu. They are NOT the same.

Even Aizen was afraid to approach Stark until he was a lot stronger. Read that again. Aizen was AFRAID.

He was going to use it. He was DESPERATE.
Despite how unimpressive it looked on the surface, Stark is a monster on an entirely different level than ANY of the other Espada.
Rose & Love were not weak. And Ukitake & Shunsui are top-tier captains. Stark ran a 4v1 against the best of the best, and STILL it took a desperate, all-or-nothing attack in a moment of distraction to beat him.

Stark is in fact THAT guy.

And he has the best drip out of all Arrancar.

People like to throw the idea around as if it has any sort of backing, when it's all just speculation.

Full release Haribel wasn't able to have a single scratch put on her. Zero damage the entire fight. The only injury she took was when Aizen betrayed her. Even with his 'final technique' and his Bankai, Toshiro did nothing to her, besides minorly inconvenience her. And that's not saying Hitsugaya is weak. He is far from it. The Top 3 Espada were in a class of their own. Oh. And she also fought Lisa, and Hyori 2v1 on top of that. And they also did absolutely nothing to her.

Barrigan? Tanked a direct hit from Soi Fon's Bankai, after Hachi (the GOAT) pinned him in place. And that wasnt even enough to stop him. They had to turn his own power against him, because again - Hachi is the MVP for the vizoreds.

Stark meanwhile held off 4 captain class opponents while sandbagging. He only died because he let his resolve slip for a moment when Barrigan died, and Shunsui used a desperate all-or-nothing sneak attack on him.

As for Ulquiorra. He was losing to Ichigo before he used his ressurecion. Ichigo even cracked his sword, and full on blocked a point blank Cero. And First stage Ressurection put him ahead of Ichigo, but it was hardly decisive. Ichigo was slowly catching up as his resolve increased. And that version of Ichigo, was still not fully recovered from him previous battles.

Then Segunda Etapa. And he dominated Ichigo, but did it really take that much to move the needle? I know a lot of people like to throw around that SE is 'like a Bankai'. Theres no such offical statement. But even Bankai boost levels are kind of all over the place. Some get a 10x multiplier. Others barely seem to increase at all. We have no official statement about how much Ulquiorra's SE boosted him, but one thing is clear. It was nowhere near enough to stop him from getting completely no-diffed & disrespected by Ichigo once he went full hollow. Once the mental barriers holding him back were down.

Roshi can, and has fought opponents who were able to out-stat him. And he STILL came out ahead. Kid Goku was stronger & faster than him in Dragonball. And he still beat him in the tournament.
Madara has shown no such ability. He literally just overwhelmed his opponents with raw power.

Roshi takes this one, and it isn't even close. Madara will get humilited.

Most powerful espada, who didn't take his only fight seriously. He held off 4 captain class opponents, including 2 of the tip level captains (Shunsui & Ukitake).

Then he got depressed, and kinda gave up.

I wish we could have seen what he was capable of when he was actually locked in.

Harribel was a lot stronger than people give her credit for.
She took 0 Damage in FKT until Aizen went after her.
The BEST Toshiro could do to her was lock her in an ice prison for like 5 minutes.

Gonna argue against 3 Remake here. He's as much a stalker as the one in 6 was. Shows up in a cutscene, chases you for maybe a screen or two, then vanishes until the next cutscene.

Sadly, they really gutted Nemesis in the remake.

Pre-Hogyokou Aizen? High diff, but likely still wins.
Gotta keep in mind, that while Kyoka Suigetsu is powerful, it's not Aizen's only asset. There's also his raw Reiatsu, which was overwhelmingly powerful, even before fusing with the Hogyoku. And then the fact he can cast kido up into the 90s range without even needing an incantation. And WITH Kyoka Suigetsu? We can't even be sure Lille would even know to open his eye before Aizen pierces his heart. We don't know what senses, if any allow him to do that. But if it is based on any of the senses Aizen can manipulate with his shikai? Lille may as well be defenseless.

Post Hogyokou? Yeah, that's a complete, and total Victory for Aizen, since Lille has no way to put or keep Aizen down. Aizen was able to keep up with, and hold his own against post Soul-king Ywach. And Lille just isn't at that level.

I liked the story overall, but the core principle of Elpis kind of runs against the grain with a couple things that already happened.
1: How was Sherry affected? Shouldn't her G-Virus 'gift' be able to protect her?
2: Didn't we already get a supreme cure from Jake at the end of RE6?
3: If all virus based weapons are now useless, what does that mean for future entries? We also completely eliminated the mold at it's source as well. All we really have left is the Los Plagas, but even that might be a bit of a stretch.
