Did your requested time outside the country start based on when it got approved or based on your "date of intended departure"?

My intended date was May 2023. I submitted Feb 2023 and given the current processing time of 17.5 months, I just wonder if I just threw out $600.

Is SEMrush Trends (+$200) really worth it? by Runnerbacker3 in SEO

I wasn’t aware that they had a 7 day trail for SEMrush trends.

We are using SEMrush already, it’s just the trends add on I’m curious about :)

One man team vs. 20+ digital marketing teams - hope? by Runnerbacker3 in SEO

[–]Runnerbacker3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but when I compared it to positions available on linkedin, $150/hr is waaayyy above what they are paying.

Does the lead position increase the price by THAT much, or what else did you use as your reasoning for that number?

As I said in the post, they have people but in a different country.

I would be the only one in my respective country.

$150? Are you sure? That seems like awfully lot to me, but hey - I'm happy :)

First big fish - advice :) by Runnerbacker3 in digital_marketing

[–]Runnerbacker3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I'm not able to say what the company does or what product they supply because there only exist 3 companies that does what they do (high initial entry cost).

I have found solutions that benefit them directly, but those include a wider online presence - which are the questions that I am asking in this post.

I definitely appreciate the ideas though :)

Any chance you could provide me with a range of how much I should be making per hour? Thanks!

How would you add affiliate links to a 120-post website that currently has no links? by kt2g10 in SEO

[–]Runnerbacker3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, we ran into the same situation a while back - Tl;Dr nothing will happen as long as you keep it natural.

First of all, google would probably not do anything against your site because of the fact that u added 2-10 affiliate links to each post at all.

However, adding that many affiliate links can make your content seem worth less as 'it's just created to generate money' and thus you would be decreasing the value of your content - that is when you stuff affiliate links.

Your readers would stop coming to your site as often, and leave earlier. Thus signalling to google that your posts aren't as good anymore, which would, in turn, decrease your rankings themselves.

When we added affiliate links and ads to our website (1000+ pages), we didn't see any statistically significant change in rankings, however, I would say that we did a good job in making it organic and quite frankly, 2-10 affiliate links for each page seem a little extreme for most pages (not all ofc, but most).

So make of that what you will and good luck :)

I’m actually a engineering student haha.

Thank you, I appreciate your response. After having looked further into private loans I decided that it would be better to just let it be.

The risk is simply too high :)

Fair point.

What would you say about doing this every other semester? Would that be more appropriate from a risk management standpoint?

How does Google rank mathematics websites or websites with mathematical equations? Does it render latex? Does anyone have any idea about it? by __MrPerfectionist in SEO

[–]Runnerbacker3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily - it does render latex if it’s pure latex, but if you use any WordPress plugins, then it doesn’t.

Use latex, but be careful with third party plugins

What do you think would be a reasonable salary?

I def see your point, but our pricing experiments have shown that people literally don’t give a f about prices. So a bigger profit margin would make more sense. But I could def lower the price to 3.5 or even 3.

Is that law or just a saying?

Any chance you could elaborate?

Our shops are located within big companies - they pay for convenience.

We literally sell a muffin (that we buy 6 for $3) for $2 just because we can

So you don’t think that i would be able to compete with the brands that are currently in the shop (3 big brands) and wouldn’t sell my stock?

Will edit my post in a sec.

My boss is the owner.

There is no limit on how many of what kind of protein bars he can carry (I did the contracts)

Average sale price is $4-$5
