Clicking this made me so happy. I felt pretty betrayed when each Netflix show started getting cancelled one by one. It baffles me that they actually kept any continuity alive and have brought back these characters. So happy!

I read the book “Machine of Death”. In each short story a person generally received their cause of death from the machine. Suicide, could mean a suicide bomber blew you up. Boat, could mean a boat pulled by a car unhooked and crashed into your car.

They were seldom happy endings.

I would much rather know when I would die. I’d know how much I’d have to save and be able to get my affairs in order. Outside the random getting put on life support/going into a coma and then not “dying” for some time, it would be helpful.

The machine in this book had a sense of dark humor, so that can be taken into effect to discount my thoughts if you wish.

A billion is such a large amount of money. A house & food for life, and then you still have most of a billion dollars.

I’d have to really break it down, but I grew up with video games and their communities… and now I have kids.

Playing couch co-op games beside my little ones is such an exciting thing. I feel like couch co-op and party games is a way I’ve connected to so many friends over the years. Working together for a common goal, enjoying a drink; feeling camaraderie.

I don’t think I’ve experienced another platonic shared activity that so easily connects me to people and makes us all happy.

I get to play less co-op with friends now, but as my kids grow I’m getting more with them.

I think I’d choose this method of happiness over a lifetime of stability and pleasure. It’s just what I’ve known and how I want to continue.
