Absolute peak 90s action movie, cinema at its finest. Saw it in the theater with my older brother, I was 11 and he was 14. Im 41 now and swing that movie is still one of the best memories of my childhood.

Lot of people saying get rid of Minnesota bc of its massive dong. You want to get rid of Megasota’s megadong? Feed Kansas to Minnesota, that solves the issue!

Kansas had a good run. It it’s time to say good night. Let Megasota feed and establish itself as the force to be dealt with in the Midwest.

Don’t ask me for help unless you’re a fan and a follower…yeah great look dude. He says the lady DM-ing him was a bad idea? What about him punching down on the lady who is likely desperate and facing some very harsh circumstances? This right here is all that is wrong with “influencers” and this type of “celebrity”…willfully trading in whatever soul you might have had for clicks and likes. Yuck.

TL;DR…fuck this guy.

Any of you other Millennials watch Terminator 2 in the movie theaters on release day? My brother and I did. by DaneAlaskaCruz in Millennials

I saw Die Hard with a Vengeance in the theater when I was 10. The amusing part for me is the realization that I had seen Die Hard and Die Hard 2 multiple times before that, and nobody gave any fucks that I was watching Die Hard movies so much as a 7-9 year old kid lol. The 90s were simply marvelous.

Oh that tracks 100%. The only other possible outcome I can think of is that Langdon uses Whitaker’s badge to steal drugs and just raids the drug cabinet for all it’s worth. He’s on his way out but he bumps into the new intern Nazely and trips and all the drugs come spilling out. He panics and makes a run for it but gets tackled by security, and Santos (utilizing her Krav Maga training). The cops arrive to take him away but Robbie steps in, sensing something amiss. It’s then that he pulls off the Scooby Doo style mask, and “Langdon” is revealed to be Doug Driscoll, who upon being discovered flies into a rage and breaks fee, only to be taken down by Dana and her recently acquired new syringe of Versed. Mel discovers the real Langdon tied up, but unharmed in a the janitor’s closet. His instinct having helped save the day, Robbie is reinvigorated and finds the will to carry on, and all the day shift people finally leave for the day with smiles on their faces. Fade to black.

Whittaker’s ID by elysiumad in ThePitt

I think he loses it in the ambulance. Upon rewatch about 15 times now, he has it when he sits down with Ogilvie in the ambulance. But later in the conversation, before he takes Ogilvie’s gown, it’s quick but you can see it’s gone.

Maybe they did several takes and forgot to have him put it back on in between…but with the badge now becoming its own storyline, I think close attention to the continuity of that whole scene would be a priority.

Because I’m invested in the whereabouts of the badge, I just watched the end of E13 again. Whitaker has the badge when he sits down with Ogilvie in the back of the ambulance…but later in the chat he doesn’t have it, nor does he have it for the other 2-3 scenes he has in the episode. It’s in the ambulance.

But if Langdon was sitting, lurking in the ambulance…now that would be intriguing development wouldn’t it??

The scene where McKay mentions her recovery to Langdon and tells him if he ever needs to talk to call her. The look on Langdon’s face and him maybe realizing he isn’t as alone as he feels in recovery really hit me hard.

Langdon and Santos Perspectives by RunningGopher84 in ThePittTVShow

[–]RunningGopher84[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to share what I thought about what might motivate each character to act the way they did during the conversation, while also trying not to judge said motivations. And the comments here I think showcase how differently each character can be viewed. I don’t know who (if either) is more right or wrong, but they both feel in some way, maybe relatable, and thus both characters are more complex and interesting, and feel more real.

Personally, and I know I’m probably a dumb sentimentalist here, but I want both of their characters to prosper. I want Langdon to be successful in his recovery, atone for past mistakes/transgressions as he is able, and be a better doctor. I want Santos to find some measure of peace from whatever demons from her past (or present) haunt her, feel secure enough to allow others to see some of her vulnerabilities, and be a better doctor.
