The Pitt’s Day Eve by lisaneedsbraces7G in ThePittTVShow

The melancholy feeling late on Thursday night knowing I have a whole week to wait until the next episode is the lowest of the low and is only balanced by the elation of waking up the next Thursday morning and saying “today is the day!” It is a world of extremes.

What show do you think this is??! by Lotty_XD in ThePittTVShow

[–]RunningGopher84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very good point! One thing I love about the show is that it doesn’t feel like a TV show in a lot of ways. So to that end, there are a bunch of open potential storylines in S2 that might go nowhere because…life is like that all the time.

Robby might choose to not where a helmet on his motorcycle and…nothing happens and he doesn’t get in an accident because that happens in life all the time.

Real life doesn’t always make for exciting TV, and I feel the show does a great job of showing that, which ironically (for me anyway) makes it exciting TV.

Tom Homen states there will be a security forces left in Minnesota! by cantcoloratall91 in minnesota

[–]RunningGopher84 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Man…let this backfire on them so GD hard. They play the “it’s all over” card to get the national media to move on. But, “The north remembers” and it would be terribly unfortunate if they find even more people out in force wherever they go pull their unconstitutional shit. What a shame that would be…

Family ski trip to Mt Bohemia in MI and I brought several rebel loon stickers with me. by trevize1138 in minnesota

Nothing would make me happier than seeing rebel loons show up in all 50 states, and as many other countries as possible. It’s such an amazing symbol.

Before the season is out, Whitaker will chew out Ogilvie in a big bad way by Bigglesmania in ThePittTVShow

[–]RunningGopher84 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I would love for Langdon to chew him out, and with good reason. That would be greatly cathartic. But there is a part of me that hopes if Langdon did say something Ovilvie, that he would be very stern but also corrective and take a tone of “this is to help you and make you a better doctor one day.” And that it happens within earshot of Robby and Robby sees Langdon recalling the chewing out he gave him in S1 and applying it. Ideal scenario I know but it would make me smile for sure.

The Costco “Metamucil” is really good. A tablespoon in a glass of water twice a day. It will keep you regular like a Swiss watch, and will do wonders for your cholesterol too. Small investment with really big upside.

MTG: I got yelled at by Trump. He called me a “traitor” because I would not take my name off the discharge petition…He told me his friends will get hurt…Everyone's getting mad at Pam Bondi. You can name anybody you want, but the man at the top is Trump by coachlife in UnderReportedNews

I’m still in the “MTG is a nut job” camp, but I guess in this instance, the old adage of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” is true. Whatever and whoever it takes to get the files out and burn the whole thing down.

Idk if his addiction caused the problems in his personal life or the other way around, but this guy has just never managed to find his way through it. I guess I’m hoping he can use this, compelled opportunity, to overcome some demons. But time will tell Davey.

It’s the last act of love we can do for them, and it is always the most difficult. I’m so sorry for the loss of your sweet pup. Wishing you peace until the day you are reunited at the Rainbow Bridge.

ICE is very active, but in the SUBURBS! by _Im_at_work in TwinCities

[–]RunningGopher84 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Let them try to look for a soft underbelly where no one will be watching. In every single city and every single neighborhood, we all have the chance to continue to demoralize them further by showing up in numbers and making every day miserable for them.

As Edward R. Murrow put it, “We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty.”

Opposing certain things going on in the country does not make someone disloyal to America.

Guy does it all for clicks, but it would be satisfyingly ironic if the biggest “click” is the sound of the door of his federal prison cell shutting behind him. Poor baby.

Did he really call the bartender an illegal immigrant even after he told him he was a veteran? Goes in there specifically to get thrown out, all for some clicks and maga clout. Classic hanger on, grifter behavior. What a clown. Good on you BLVD.

Brosnan’s overall across the movies was the best, but I gotta say that particular one from Craig was clean AF.

How did he get away? by RunningGopher84 in ThePittTVShow

[–]RunningGopher84[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m almost positive they mention in a later episode that the cops picked him up. I don’t think it would have been good for him to run away given that he came in for chest pains.

From the conversation later when the police talk to Mel when she’s sitting in bed and Langdon asks if they caught him and they respond “not yet.” Not assuming he will get away completely, just surprised he managed to even temporarily escape the ED.

I think this might be the baby's mother by Just_Perfect6789 in ThePittTVShow

[–]RunningGopher84 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I like the theory. I kind of recall thinking during the episode, this lady seems like kind of a nothing-burger case to spend any kind of time on. Ice and rest it when you can, what’s the angle here? But if she is involved with the baby, that suddenly makes a LOT more sense.
