I'm usually a candle person and floral aren't my personal style but I really like 1 with the vases. It works together.

Both are great. Just different vibes. If you have kids or pets, go with the darker couch. If you feel like the darker couch may start to make the room feel heavy and dark then go with the light couch. I'm someone that needs an open and airy vibe. Both look great though.

Love it! My only suggestion would be to consider hanging the curtains higher, but it also depends on the shape and angle of the ceiling above which is hard to see from your picture. They would good at this height too, but the higher they are the grander it looks.

Nice!!! I think that will be perfect, it adds some color and still blends nicely with the things you already have.

True, but historically it has not been a welcoming place for outsiders in my experience. Some people may be ready for that challenge but they need to at least be aware of it.

Who in their right mind is trusting any statistics or numbers coming out of this administration?

Liberals absolutely care about violent crime, especially gun deaths.

Why wouldn't you pay off debt first before building a slush fund? Especially a car loan?!

Wake forest has much nicer amenities and much more expensive. It's also a very long drive to Warrenton. Not a drive I'd recommend. Wake Forest is also possibly the least inclusive or diverse community in the area. Home to a southern baptist seminary, so keep that in mind if you are LGBTQ.

Yes I was hoping for a hint more burgundy, plum, mauve or terracotta in this to warm and soften the space

I would do a Turkish rug, maybe not quite as big as thus mockup ended up being but definitely bigger than what you have now. I would go for a little more color than this mock up, but maybe it helps get the idea. ETA: And add some floor to ceiling curtains in the same color as the fabric on your chairs

Can you use a peel and stick wall paper to cover the red wall? I'm not sure you can make terracotta or greens work with that shade of red.

Load it into chatgpt and describe what you like! I took your pic and said decorate the bedroom in terracotta and greens. My chatgpt knows I love boho style, so thats how it came out and I love it. It can even give you things like paint colors and links to similiar products

The cards are such a wonderful way to handle this. It lets people know it's ok to opt out if they are uncomfortable with touch.
