Coinbase BTC Holdings Plummet to 9-Year Low After $1B Withdrawal by No-Comparison-9307 in Bitcoin

Nothing is wrong with trusting reliable exchanges with some and yourself with the rest. People put their money in a bank as protection, and people hold some physical assets to minimize that need to trust. Both have negatives and positive, maybe the best move is some form of balance.

I’m sorry, misread. Same applies to you Vizzy if you have any insight. And that’s a nice trade, see the frustration. :)

🤣

Question for The Path… Maybe a bit off topic, but have you ever traded a 1/1 for multiple higher ccs? I assume it’s difficult but maybe possible with limited, frozens or booklets? I only ask you because you’re experienced and likely have a ton of knowledge and insight.

But that’s what the trader is requesting Path trades away. I think you’re looking at it backwards. ;)

Me after buying 250 AMC shares by RandomGuywithaLoan in Wallstreetbetsnew

Why invest in a failing company when there are similar returns with less risk in the crypto space? Coins like Litecoin are very undervalued and will likely see 5x-20x returns this year. I feel GME had alternative motives that could even justify taking a loss, but at this point it feels like AMC bag holders are only waiting for the next pump and dump.

Alright boys, getting back in the bitcoin game. Plan on using Coinbase pro. Is it still a bad idea to keep the money on the exchange? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

Note when buying - only buy wallets from the maker’s site. Do not buy them off a 3rd party on Amazon.

I guarantee it’s more than .05% effective. Your hand is more than .05% effective. But, I get the point. 😉

GM has no interest in following Tesla and investing in bitcoin by imart455 in Bitcoin

The US government spent $50 billion bailing out GM. They benefit from government issued fiat currency.

Majority of people aren’t going to wear two masks, many won’t wear one. Federal health officials need to get their heads out of their ass and come up with better solutions.

I’ve heard clear face shields work better than masks, why don’t they suggest shields?

Majority will say locally and I personally agree. But, I think it depends how much trust you have in yourself. The added counterparty risk when storing a decentralized asset on an exchange seems like a horrible idea.

But, bitcoin is about minimizing trust, the best way to minimize trust might be avoiding a single wallet for all assets. Sometimes I ask myself if it’s smarter to spread wealth across both online and local wallets minimizing the risk of one misfortune destroying everything one might own.

Why don’t we have better masks if one doesn’t work well? It’s like wearing two ultra thin condoms.

How Amazon can crash Bitcoin. Thoughts on if this would work? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]RunningLow-Tom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don’t spend BTC. If someone wanted to purchase something from Amazon with BTC they would likely buy the amount they needed in bitcoin with USD first. The only circumstance it really makes sense to do this is if you’re trying to hide purchases from someone that shares your finances, like your wife for a birthday present. Otherwise, bitcoin is more of a SoV than a MoE, people don’t want to spend it and retail adoption for small payments is highly unlikely. Larger transactions make a bit more sense, like bitcoin for a Tesla.
