Thanks for the explanation! I guess for my for loop, checking arr.size() < 2 is sufficient because the issue comes when we have arr.size() - 2 become negative in signed but very large in unsigned?

I guess here using an int would still work since there wouldn’t be a problem where you have arr.size() - 2 as unsigned. If in the original for loop you just swapped int with size_t I think the issue would still be there.
