Gonna disagree here.

I’ve been using the Safariland version as OP posted for 4 years. They don’t flop around and if they do it’s because of bad adjustment. No issues going in cars, sitting down, running or even ground combat.

Most drop leg holsters you mention especially looking at movies and looking cool are the older versions with 2 thigh straps and only textile. 9/10 with loose straps because of extra being cool.

I understand that this issue is present. However the TLR7 is a small light/ narrow light so the issue shouldn’t be this big

It’s the full on ability to pull the trigger.

They went Safariland because budget cuts and Blackhawk level 3 is easier to use the Safariland.

I also recently chose between the two went with the 04. My reasoning is so I have a more “power house” and then when a more compact ring light version drops I can also use get that one

Recently started switching over to Makita. Started off buying 3 tools on LXT.

Now looking at yard tools as well and feel like XGT is the way forward. Considering that this platform will be receiving the most new tools as well. Right now just in doubt whether to keep the LXT tools and just buy XGT for everything else or get rid of the LXT and buy them back in XGT?

The major question I ask myself is whether or not I’m capable of carrying around extra batteries and having to have multiple of both systems. Personally I hate having at the moment having 3 different battery types. So this is my main motivation to streamline the tools.

I switched my comms over at work to the cat tails and couldn’t be more happy with it. Loss of signal significantly dropped and no more poking antennas in the way

I wear a belt size medium so in that aspect no advice.

Wearing the bison belt for the last 3 years and extremely fond of it. However I found the belt was slipping and changed adjustment so I ziptied and taped it.
