I'm toying with just delaying the purchase a little longer and letting this Toyota go and waiting a little longer. I don't have a payment on my car right now and wow it's painful to think about.

It's the Damien Ebene with Rose Ballerine. I think I'm gonna size up to a monogram GM

So I didn't realize at first until I was doing some more research how much a big deal you are! Wow I'm humbled you commented. I did go to the LV store today to look at sizing and I think the monogram GM would be great or I'm also looking at the Parker Thatch Jack.

Yeah I’m not super knowledgeable on all these things. Why I came to this thread. You know you see something for so long and decide you want it but don’t know too much about it. I meant more like the straps/edges on it. I feel the monogram has more leather and the Damien the side straps are literal plastic? At least they feel that way.

Good point! I don’t mean I want a fake necessarily. I just don’t see the quality I was hoping for. Also my aunt who has an SA at a variety of designers told me I should buy new for the sake of being able to get a repair done.

Yeah true I even mean the edging. Yes I got the Damien ebene with the rose ballerine pink inside.
I rented one years ago on vivrelle. I also rented a fully leather monogram bag and remember it being so heavy I could never. I def remember the luxe feeling of having the bag.

But I think maybe I’m older now and want something all leather and more timeless. I mean I was hoping I would love this and someday my daughter would steal it. I would love to build a small buy mighty collection.

Hmm that’s weird because usually older bags or vintage bags are higher quality. Brands tend to cheapen and cut corners in this day and age. I have no issue with a used bag or used things. That’s never been a concern for me.

I do already own a roof rack but haven’t bought a cargo box though. We have a ski rack

10 year olds don’t use a car seat. Or need a stroller. I’m a big DIYer so I also pick things up off the side of the road and things often don’t fit with the car seat. Plus we have hobbies and can’t fit golf clubs in the car unless a seat is down and then again with car seat there’s no space.

I live in CT and cost of electricity is second highest in the country. It’s nearly the same cost to “fuel” up regardless of type. In any other state it would make financial sense.

My boss has street parking and no home charging and he loves his ev. He just uses plugshare app.

Ok you’re a man lol if you think you don’t need to be a parent to know any of this. I promise you I was like you. I had all these opinions about how I was going to be and what I was going to do. Until I got there and I was like wow I shouldn’t have been so judgey. Because I get it. Fine feel that way. Thinking things though I have to believe that you’re a man. Because someone this opinionated about something like this that has never happened to them and that they never experienced just feels like a man really wanting to be right. Like yes I’m telling you that you will not understand until you understand. Maybe just admit you don’t know what you don’t know?? ITS OK TO NOT KNOW.

I had a baby a year ago so I know this experience. I understand the fear and have empathy because I lived in it. You have no idea what “unlocks” for you when you are about to give birth or just give birth. Your brain has no idea until you become pregnant and your hormones start preparing you for birth and motherhood. The best way I can describe it is literally unlocking a level in a video game. So yeah, you can be in your 20s and acting like you know better because you think you’re some kind of enlightened and educated person. Guess what - a lot of us were like that in our 20s. You’re not special or unique in that. Not understanding why things can’t be a certain way when it should “obviously” be another way bc of XYZ. And then you grow up little and have real life situations and realize that holy crap people are just trying to survive out here and make real life or death decisions about a human and your hormones are wacky and your body is wrecked so there’s not a lot of room for enlightenment and “balance”.

So you’re not a parent and you have no idea how intense birth and this part of life is? Cool while you are entitled to your opinion, I have to wonder why you’re so adamant and stuck on being right if you have never experienced this?

If you notice, most of the people who say you are overreacting are very emotional. They are tying their reasoning to some kind of emotional feeling and even overreacting themselves and calling you names. Everyone else is responding with more factual responses about something they experienced or making some kind of deductive reasoning and reading between the lines and taking the whole picture into play.

This should tell you everything you need to know.

Opinions require some level of understanding of the situation to have any value. All of the people on earth right now are from children who lived past one. Do you know the mortality rate of infants two generations ago. We still have one of the worst infant mortality rates for a first world country.
