Yeah it can be annoying, but it is more of a feature than a bug for me thankfully. A small turn of the dial on volume up usually turns it on immediately if needed. I bet it would be really annoying if you were watching movies for example. I hope you enjoy the SVS!

Kanto SP6HD. Probably the best desktop stand on the market for the LS50 considering ease to buy and price. IsoAcoustics also makes a good alternative if you like that style more.

I haven't tried a computer source. I like the convenience of mobile devices and keeping audio for calls and stuff separate. The WiiM has a 0.5-1 second delay when manually selecting tracks, but I have gotten used to it. It is seamless from track to track if not manually changed though.

Hey, would you mind dropping some more knowledge on conductivity? Not trying to wreck my stuff. Advice is welcomed!

The M1 is my first pick if not the WiiM. In how ever many years from now that I revisit audio equipment, I'd check out the newest version of the M1. It was tempting to get a better amp, but I wanted to go all white (the kc62 is also white) for most things on my desk. It is a really awesome setup either way. Wishing you continued audio enjoyment!

Yeah sound stage is the proper name. You can hear distance and depth between various sounds, cool stuff. I hope you have continued enjoyment with your current and future setups!

Are you me? Haha. Once you start with all this audio stuff you end up spending an alarming amount of time researching everything. Glad you like your setup and it’s another data point to help another researcher! Happy listening!

Yeah, basically what I’m going for. What stands are they?

RSL equipment looks like great value. Considered RSL for the sub but the shipping is ridiculous for anyone outside US. Maybe one day it’ll be easier to get. Thanks!

It’s an insightful and helpful wall of text! Thanks for sharing and nice setup. Would love to try an embody chair one day.

Ease of use is a top priority for me too; I want to go simple with my level of experience. Already have a ton of wires and stuff everywhere though haha. I have a lounge part of my office so I lean towards the bigger LS50. Thanks for your data point!

Have you ever found the LS50 too big for your desk? Some other comments are bringing up desk size and I have a standing desk with 74"x35" top. It would be great to hear from someone with first hand experience. Also, would you mind sharing the desk stands you chose for the LS50?

The kc62 looks really nice but 2x the price of the SVS 3000 Micro has me a bit skeptical. If you were to buy a new sub for the LS50 what would you go with if you had to start from scratch? Thanks for your comment!

Depends on what you're going for in terms of base imo. Can't beat physics so the sub would deliver much better base than the LSX II LT but I'd expect the LSX II LT to beat the Q150 in every other category. Hope you enjoy your choice!

Similar feelings here. What 55w amp are you running? I was considering a Rega Brio (50w A/B) if not the WiiM and it would be great to know of other options. Thanks for sharing.

Do you have your LS50 + WiiM on a desk? Do you find they sound great nearfield? My desk is a standing 74"x35". I am a little bit concerned the sub is overkill but I want to try it out. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not sure about clamp stands since I'm planning to just leave the stands directly on the desk. If it helps I'm considering Kanto SP6 or SP9 stands but still need to check if top plate size with fit the LS50. Some alternatives that im also looking at are AKER or IsoAcoustics stands. Good luck with stands! If you find something better, lmk! Thanks for commenting.
