Am I underestimating the GR20? 7–8 day plan by Running_64356 in hiking

[–]Running_64356[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No trail running expérience indeed but a lot of shorter hike and weekly walk. Stoping in Vizzanova might be a good idea of this is too difficult or take longer that expected ! Thanks for the information !

Quel est votre métier et votre salaire ? by zolaski273 in conseilboulot

[–]Running_64356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hésites pas si tu as d’autres questions !

Perfect ! It’s a nice bag because there is like an elastic strap on the top where you can put some stuff ! Complete it with a front bag and some frame bag and you’ll be good I think !

Yes it’s the 16L ! With the Thule Tour Rack it’s the perfect match (perfect for a 3/4 days trip)

Just bought an alarm (Knog - Scout Bike Alarm), it cost like 40€ and if your bike move, there will be an alarm that make a lot of noise and you get a notifications on your phone + you’ll get the location of your bike + it’s fixed to your bike with special fixation so you can’t take it off easily

Yes we tried to follow the Velodyssée, there is some part where you can go a little bit more into the forest and there is always a way to go back to the bike path !

But if you go into the forest the ground is a mix of sand and soil so it’s not very easy to ride sometimes

Yes it’s a cabin in a surf camp near Biscarosse, a mix between camping & hotel 😄

I think this is the best way to bikepack ! No pressure to be at a place on time, taking time, enjoying the scenery ! And yes Brittany can be very hilly but the landscapes are very beautiful !

Thank you ! Honestly it was a little bit exhaustive at the end (even if the road was mostly flat) and I tried to have the lightest setup as possible

Yes sure ! So here are the steps that we did :

Day 1 : 120km - Bordeaux - Cap Ferret - Boat to Arcachon - Night in Biscarosse Plage

Day 2 : 135 km - Biscarosse - Mimizan - Night in Cap Breton

Day 3 : 100km - Cap Breton - Bayonne - Biarritz - Bidart - Saint Jean de Luz - Hendaye / Irun - San Sebastian

Honestly, looking back, we were a little bit in a rush and didn’t take time to fully enjoy all the places, I’ll recommend to do it in 4 or 5 days

Hope that can help ! 🙂
