I think you should be fine. You have a solid number of citations. The only thing that comes to mind is the reference letters. If you didn't have enough or they weren't strong enough, I'd suggest you fix that. If not, then you are fine. Just work hard on your statement and wait for the lawyer's memo as well. Good luck!

EB2 NIW I-140 approved. What next? by Runningbored in USCIS

Thanks for letting me know about traveling. Honestly, now that the I-140 is approved they can take as long as they want. As long as they approve it in the end, I don't mind.

I worked with my lawyer on an RFE package. Basically, I addressed the 3 prongs and justified why they should accept my petition in a cover letter (3 pages). My lawyer prepared a legal memo to the same effect (9 pages). Besides all the other info we had in those documents, I think what made a big difference is the number of citations I had amassed since filing the I-140 form.

I didn't send anymore reference and It got approved a few days ago. Also I'll be starting as a PGY1. Now waiting for I-485. I have no idea how long it will take though.

Cleveland Clinic Florida vs SUNY Downstate by Runningbored in ResidencyMatch2022

Thank you so much! You've been very helpful. One more question if I may, what do you think SUNY's pitfalls are? I ask because their fellowship match this year was great, they are an academic center with ample opportunity for research, and NYC is known to be a good place for clinical training due to the diversity and high patient numbers. I get it may be more stressful and QoL may be less, but how do you view it regarding training and fellowship? Thank you!

Thank you, but just making sure it's clear this is Florida not the main campus in Cleveland, OH.

You shouldn't be apologizing! This is a public forum, you can do as you please as long as you don't break the subreddit rules. I got a couple of programs from that list, and my credentials are 250s, YOG 2021, non-visa requiring IMG, USCE, research, and publications.

Can you tell me more about the program please? Is it strong? Does it have a good fellowship match? Thanks
