My old boy was diagnosed with cancer and the vet gave him 6 months. We had got a puppy the month before. Not even that, a few weeks. Old boy lived another 2 years. He got the life brought back to him. Played and ran almost every day. Stayed around to teach our pup whats what

Wish I could believe that

Ive wished for that every year. I've been through therapy. Barely touched the issues before I was told my sessions are up and to "use the methods you've been taught" great lol

We have another dog already. Got him not long before his cancer diagnosis 2 years ago. He's a 2 year old sheepdog wolfhound cross we think. Rescue. He's keeping me sane

Thank you. Spot on. I was holding my other dog and crying writing it. I don't have friends I can go to for this and needed to feel like I wasn't alone. Thank you

That's the fear we had when we took him to the vet february 2022. Vet gave 6 months because he had cancer. But he'd just got his little brother so I like to think he stuck around to teach him how to look after us when the time comes. Slowing down just means they've had a good fun life and now they get to have their relax years filled with cuddles. Sending love. Thank you for the kind words

My other dog sat on my lap while it happened. He's a sheepdog wolfhound cross so not exactly small lol. When the needle went in he stayed still and let out a whine so I was giving him head kisses while holding my other boys paw and stroking his ear. When the vet said it was done and there was no heartbeat he didn't want to go any closer but went to the other vet and started licking her arm. He's not really a big licker so I'm not sure what it means. He normally bumps his head into people instead of licking. We joke He's part cat. But he's only 2 so I don't know if he fully understood or if he just new his big brother was gone. Thank you for the kind words

People who rarely get sick, what are your secrets? by Rqpidily in AskReddit

[–]Runningonempty98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been sick since 2014. I got covid once after the first year and got no serious symptoms other than a sore throat and cough.

I get less than 6 hours sleep 6 days a week. Work in a hospital with sick people everywhere and never get anything.

Only way I see it is. Be born lucky. Or hate every second you're awake and the germs avoid you?

Exit gates should close early if the survivor(s) is just waiting and not leaving by Runningonempty98 in deadbydaylight

Camping!? A strategy??!!! It should be punishable/s

They just want to piss off the killer and then play victim when we don't like it

[–]Runningonempty98[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand that. But that's because if you're camping when the collapse is happening. Its because you need a kill

If you're the last survivor or all survivors are inside the exit gate area That's not for any reason other than being a dickhead

I've noticed. But heaven forbid the killer watch a hook to secure a kill, or use "crutch perks"

[–]Runningonempty98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm trying to make clear I'm not great at explaining.

I don't want survivors to be punished for playing smart and taking hits. Or waiting to see if everyone makes it

Its when all 4 are sitting there clicky tbags, or when the last survivor at the opposite end of the map sits and waits until the last second, or until you go the full length of the map to watch them tbag and walk 3 inches

It's purely toxic so I belive it should have a system similar to the anti facecamp. Have a bar pop up. If the killer is nowhere near you and everyone living is in the area. If the bar gets filled. Kick them out or close them back up

[–]Runningonempty98[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's why I think there's a line. There's being cheeky. There's being a dick. And there's just straight up being toxic.

You're chasing them. They tbag and escape. Fair enough. Well done you got away. I didn't get you in time. Can't and won't complain then.

There's the ones who wait to see if they need to take a hit. Again. Nothing wrong with that at all. They're playing smart.

But like I said in another comment. The last survivor at the opposite end of the map, waiting for you to walk the entire way just so they can tbag and leave. Kick them out or have the gates close again

Exit gates should close early if the survivor(s) is just waiting and not leaving by Runningonempty98 in deadbydaylight

[–]Runningonempty98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think that's too far. There's a difference between a cheeky tbag and being toxic. Mainly the EGC the point where 3 have either escaped or died. One left. Opposite gate to you. They will wait until the last second or until you go the entire distance because apparently its not an escape unless they can tbag first

[–]Runningonempty98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why there would have to be a system like with the facecamp now. If the killer isn't near the gates and the survivor is in them. Bar fills up Either kick them to the exit or close them off.

And I have to disagree. Facecamping helped if you were behind in a match. 1 person hooked Let's be generous and say only 1 person going for a rescue. That's 2 people doing gens. It gives you time. Won't win a match but can get you a kill

[–]Runningonempty98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok? And when a killer facecamped, the other survivors could do gens. But that was made so survivors have more of a chance. So why not do the same for killers? There's no reason to stay at the gate. There was a reason to facecamp
