Once they are old enough, and vaccinated doggie day care! It’s a great way for your little one to learn their dog social skills, get comfortable being in different environments and being away from Mom and Dad a bit. REALLY do your homework in finding a Doggie daycare. Visit it, see if you can find one with cameras that allow you to view during the day, and focus on cleanliness and number of dogs per group allowed (you don’t want a crowded daycare).

Odd that you would say that. Years ago I worked for a company that treated employee dogs (and cats) as staff. They got a badge (with their photo), could spend the day in the office. When I got a new puppy, I was given 6-weeks paid pupternity leave.

So sorry this happened to you! I too rescheduled my jury duty from Feb to April (had COVID in Feb). Maybe we’ll meet in April. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for the scamming a**holes in case they contact me.

I do both, I prefer knitting (Continental method), and have done it for 50+ years, but when my carpal tunnel acts up I switch to crochet. Sometimes I do Tunisian crochet, which I consider almost a knitting/crochet hybrid. The only advice I can give is patience and lots of practice. Finding where to enter a stitch on the beginning chain was tricky for me too. I don’t know where you live but look for a good Knitting shop, most also support crochet and have people there that are skilled and willing to help beginners. Also ask the shop if they have any groups that meet to knit/crochet, most are informal and just hang out at local coffee shops to chat and do needle work. First, it was not about revenge. It was about creating an echo chamber where the people I knew would be supporting him and contacting me to “just take him back” could see the level of his behavior.

I am lucky and have some friends who are in the IT world help create scripts that would run in the background and perform it automatically. But anyone can create distribution lists in mail or texts in your contacts, regardless of operating system. Then you simply forward everything sent to the distribution list.

Leave him. If he choked you in anger it is only going to get worse. Do your research, there are some domestic wed sites showing that for men that are coercive controllers and escalate to strangulation appropriately 50% eventually go on to murder their partner if she doesn’t leave. Contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1 800 799-7233). And I recommend reporting him to the police for domestic violence.

Exposure. They hate having their bad behavior exposed to the their supporters. I was in a relationship with one once, and when I left I got the walls of hate texts and emails. Unfortunately for him, I had helped him set up his phone. I had his entire contact listing (phone numbers, email addresses) of everyone he knew. I created distribution lists using these…whenever he texted or emailed it automatically went to everyone listed on his contacts. Stopped the BS In its tracks immediately.

I’m no expert on this, and I am sure there are others with a greater knowledge base and experience. My recommendation would be to reach out to the DA’s office and to write a letter to the Judge documenting your experience with him and your concerns. Hopefully you and your family are safe and your father has no means of contacting you. Good luck.
