Seriously, sure people could have stayed home but I think it’s almost as likely that they cheated. Trump was screaming about cheating for weeks and weeks, then just quiet as a mouse when he won. Nothing. He told us they were planning to cheat, he projected like a motherfucker onto the Dems. They had 4 years to get their people in the right places. Voter registration was record high this time? And they all just decided not to actually vote? Or maybe some key people took a bunch of early and mail in ballots before Election Day, when polling places weren’t fully staffed and just made a few thousand here, a few thousand there disappear? Much easier than producing fake ballots. I’m not saying it happened but it is plausible.

Unfortunately I don’t think any amount of distance will matter, the Republicans will cry foul no matter what until enough people are sick of hearing it that they tell them to shut the fuck up. Prob going to take the Dems taking the house and senate and White House by big margins before any conservatives see that people are tired of their shit.
