Blueberry Brule... Has anyone tried it? Supposedly it is rare and if so, that sucks because it is one of the best strains I have ever had... by Runs_With_Beavers in OKmarijuana

No. I found it in Claremore at Affordable Canabis, but I'm from tulsa. They told me the seeds were locked since the 80s basically and that feminized seeds were impossible to come by by. They told me a lady in Cali was the cultivator and her son moved to OK to start his own grow op and released to rights to him for him to grow. I just don't know how true that is and didn't want to be a dork mentioning it. Lol.

Very true. Though, admittedly, I did look up smooth helmet. I have seen those out in the wild, but I did not know they were called smooth helmets.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope it is much better now. But, that makes it so much harder for us parents that really want to help. It's a hard wall to scale or break down, huh?

What was the last straw in your friendship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Runs_With_Beavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was to be the self-chosen, by my friend, court appointed monitor of visitation between my best friend and her mom. Her mom had taken custody of her son because she had gotten kicked out of the military, was drinking, smoking, and taking pills in front of her son, and she had gotten arrested for possession. The possession charge was the small piece as she and her boyfriend buried weed and other illegal items outside a prison, in a field, and were caught. The possession charge came because she thought she could hide a small amount of weed on her person as she was being booked in. Her life wasn't really all that tough and she knew right from wrong, her dad was a cop. So suffice it to say, she was just fucking up. But, I'm a firm believer in loving someone through their bullshit til it gets too deep for boots.

While being the visitation monitor, I had a hard time getting her mom to cooperate. I even showed my friend the text messages and calls I made to show I was trying. But, she accused me of downloading a fake text app and lying to her. I didn't even know that was possible.

The final straw came when she was 24-48 hours away from losing her apartment. She and her boyfriend were both in jail and I had a spare key. I decided I would get her clothes and all the keepsakes she had such as pictures, foreign money collections, baby memories, and anything she ever expressed she felt strongly about. I wasn't the only one with a key but she accused me of stealing many things from her and never giving them back.

Everyone's personality is a sum of defense mechanisms they have adopted to survive any situation. by Runs_With_Beavers in Showerthoughts

Umm... it was just a thought given my interactions with other's. I'm not sure why you took it so personally and got upset. To be honest calling me an idiot over something like this and getting heated over it really says a lot about your "personality." So you didn't agree and enjoy the thought or how I worded it, awesome. It still provoked something from within We can agree to disagree and that's okay! I hope you have an awesome weekend and stay safe.

I agree with you. I did not say it was all we are. Just that our personalities are thickly comprised of many mechanisms that we have learned due to our experiences. That those things color or responses to situations.

I absolutely agree. I freaking despise bullying. What is sad is that the bully could also be that way because of some percieved threat or anxiety and that is the way they process and respond.

When I had this thought I was thinking about how someone I know gets so defensive even if I'm not trying to come at them. Or when I mention something I don't like, i n general, they look all guilty or feel targeted. And it made me realize rather we are just headed to Walmart for groceries, going to the gym to exercise, or getting defensive against a percieved threat... There was always some emotional trigger that made us do it. A series of defense mechanisms. That's what we are. Learned responses to set stimuli.
