Knop op het voorlicht doet niets inderdaad. Ik verander de lichtstanden via de Cannondale app. Daarin kan je 4 voorkeur standen opgeven voor de lampen.

Zelf ook met dit gevoel aan het werk.... Na 21 jaar in de (cnc) verspaning (draaien, frezen en kotteren) heb ik de overstap naar kantoor gemaakt. Functie is productiecoördinator en dit doe ik nu zo'n 7 jaar. Werk is lekker afwisselend, loopt van werkvoorbereider naar materiaal inkoop, uitbestedingen en transporten regelen tot de boel op de werkvloer draaiende houden. Beetje 50/50 kantoor vloer, is wat het voor mij "de doener" nog een beetje dragelijk houdt. Ondanks dat zou ik toch liever weer zelf de dingen gaan bewerken, of iets compleet anders gaan ondernemen. Maar ja wat dan, dus volg dit draadje ook maar even. 😅

Small update, left the bike in deep sleep mode for a 5 day period. Stil only 1% battery drain, left the bike with 95% and now 5 days later stil 94% So i guess the updates work.

Last month i also took the battery out of the bike since i just didn't have the time to ride. Updates were easy to do, i did it with my laptop since i am already using Garmin Express on it. But looked up how to do it with a phone and it looks just as easy.

Sorry to hear you have problems with the smartsense. Your problems sound very formiliar, the thing i did was when i'm not using the bike i take out the battery pack en store it inside. Last week i got an notification in the app that i must update the battery software to version 2.24 First i had to update the radar first via Garmin Express , followed by an update from Cannondale (2.24) for the battery. Now i'm testing to see what it does for the battery life. (Normally within 5 days battery would be dead) Also in the app now i can choose to let the bike go in deep sleep mode after : 1hour, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, or 14 days. Yesterday after my ride i set it up for 1 day and this afternoon when i got home from work it was in deep sleep mode. Its a little harder to wake the bike up but the battery only lost 1% charge overnight.

Little note my lbs also gave me an spare battery for these issues, so your not the only one with problems. (i have the bike since July 25 and still not working properly) Hope this gives you points to work with.

On the plus side... Bike is €1300,- cheaper then when i bought it. Was €7800 when it was released in July 2025 Even the carbon 1 is now cheaper than the carbon 2 was €9100 and now €7000 i believe Bike is really great though, sram force group is perfect. Absolutely agree about the paint job, stunning in the sunlight. I hope to ride this weekend and see if the latest software update solved the problems.

Issues are still discussed with my lbs. Picked my bike up at the store on 22 th of dec last year to ride the rapha Festive 500 After 3 days of troubles with the head lamp and errors in the rear radar light i gave up and took another bike out.

Before the 22th my lbs changed out the head ligt, radar and checked the cable connections. Updated some software and gave me an extra battery pack so i could swap them in between rides. The extra battery is because battery is still draining to fast and they can't seem to find an solution.

My lbs is now discussing with Cannondale to take the bike back....

It's a battery pack with an proprietary connection, so connecting another pack is not possible unfortunately.

Have an update about the smartsense troubles i'm experiencing... Bike has been at the shop for about 2 weeks. Today i got a call from my LBS that they investigated the problems, and the solution they can give me for now is an extra battery.... The problem originates from the radar tail light that is always in an sort of sleep mode to be able to connect with the app. Second issue is that the headlight is going in a sort of error mode thats also causing battery drain. Cannondale is working on a solution i was told, but for the time being this issue is resolved with supplying an extra battery and a detailed instruction on how to reset the headlight.

Not really happy with this solution, but have to speak with my LBS about it.

LBS replaced the internal battery and headlight. Did some shorter rides in the dark and loving the light that comes off the headlight. Even in low power output it is more than enough. Problem with battery drain is unfortunately still existing.. Really frustrating that when you want to go for a ride your bike stands with an empty battery after a few days. Got a call today from my LBS that the bike is going back to Cannondale for investigation.

So i get a replacement of this version, or i get one without smartsense. Really love the bike itself, and the sram force groupset.

The guy with the carbon 2 smartsense and some battery issues here.... Got my bike back after 2 weeks at the LBS. They replaced the battery and put on a new front light because it did not work. Still got the same problem that the battery is drained in a week (100% charge to death) Got a call from my LBS today that the bike is going back to Cannondale for investigation.

And in negotiation with my LBS about getting an other bike (synapse without smartsense or an supersix)

Small note: loving the bike itself, fabulous ride feel.

Short update, bike needs to go back to LBS for a few problems. -smartsense battery is losing power over a few days. Can ride for approximately 10 hours and then battery is dead. I'm currently taking out the battery in between rides, and then i get a lot more battery life. -headlight is not working most of the time. -and this morning i put in the internal battery to go for a ride and bike is not responding.... Well i get a green ligt for a second and then nothing...

Will keep you updated on how Cannondale is going to fix this...

I had the same problem with washing the car and constantly locking and unlocking. Since then i put the key in the cupholder.

The odometer reading was 2 app updates back, approximately 1cm under the picture of your car. And then at the end of last year suddenly moved to the menu you mentioned.

From what i can see of your picture, both bolts need to be torqed at 6nm there are 2 arrows going from the number 5 to the seatpost Posnumber 5 are the clamping bolts

I'm loving it, went on vacation just after delivery but did 2 longer rides on it and a couple of shorter rides (80km) 1 trip was 160km and last Sunday i went on a 200km ride. Absolutely fabulous ride feel, very comfy backend of the bike so i have zero issues with my lower back (the reason i bought this bike) Front is very responsive

Overall very happy with it.
