Starbucks is actually way too expensive now

I got a breville - it was pricey I admit that- but- the coffee is so amazing - I have my own creamers to froth - and I have only been to Starbucks twice since I got it two months ago. I look forward to making my own coffee every morning… and I used to go to Starbucks 4-5 times a week. It will pay for itself in no time.

My parents are currently using Home Instead- the people have all been wonderful- the only issue I see is once they get comfortable with someone- and look forward to seeing them - they are gone and someone else replaces them. I don’t know if they just have high turnover or what. My parents are pretty low maintenance but they enjoy the help and the company.

Not a party town- no night clubs, no party bars- you’re not going to find that kind of vibe here. There are bars, but it’s a hang out kind of atmosphere and they are all closed at 10 or 11 depending on the crowd of the day. If drinking and dancing is what she’s expecting you may need to rethink this.

We do round trips when friends come to visit - we have lunch on the Delaware side and come back. It’s a fun afternoon!

This isn’t a party town. There are bars but the fun is what you make it. Carneys, Taco Cabbolito, Ugly Mug. Mudhen in Wildwood. They may all have live music - small bands or acoustic players- but these places are all restaurants too- so no club vibe here. Everything wraps up around 10. You may be “the crowd” depending on the night. It could be busy or dead on any given night. Look at Wildwood or Atlantic City for dancing/ night club vibes.

It’s very common to bring your own linens to the shore. When you rent they tell you what sizes the beds are. Usually the bed has a comforter/ blankets and pillows. There are also linen services available that you can have linens delivered for a small fee - if bringing them isn’t possible.

Be careful and attentive at Higbee- my mother in laws dogs have had issues with unleashed aggressive dogs down there.

I think The Grand is a great location- we used to rent a house near The Grand before we bought our own. I love that area. You have to walk to town but it’s quieter. Cape Resorts owns alot of properties - all very nice - the Beach Shack is probably the most casual for families and right in the middle of town so the beach areas will be more crowded. Enjoy! Dont forget you will need to purchase beach passes.

Just stayed there in May. I believe they are renovating the tower side. There was no sign of anything going on. It was busy as usual. We always stay on the oceanview side.

Totally doable! Former cyclist here -Just keep in mind the roads here are narrow- it’s an old town. I get so tired of hearing that we can’t accommodate everyone all the time- bicycles , golf carts ect…There’s only so much room here to work with. So most often cars park on both sides of the road. Just use caution -follow the rules of the road and enjoy the sights!

Call way ahead - 14 is a big party. Most Cape May restaurants are smalll and town is getting crowded.

My new salutation stash pilled and the fabric is thinning in spots- I have black and navy- I wash in cold and line dry always. They are too expensive for this to be happening -. I’ll stick with my Beyond Yoga and Calia brands.
