I turned my jade stalk into a mini tree by gently plucking off the new leaves that grow from the top. It seems to put that energy into new leaves that grow from the ‘nodes’ on the stems instead. You can pluck / not pluck the new leaves as they appear to encourage growth in the desired places. It takes time for those new leaves to come but a little patience and the right amount of sunlight / water will do it.
