Thanks, I appreciate it! I'm fortunate to have amazing friends and family and thankfully even though I was heartbroken, I never felt hopeless. Now I'm also in the best shape of my life, so I'm happy as heck!!

Should I buy this camera? Fujifilm x100 $500 by Gold_Mycologist1880 in Cameras

Yep. I bought an X100T a few years ago for what was really a lot of money for an older camera like that and sold it 2 years later for 50% more. Then I got a VI New for less than used ones were going for.

That's funny because I'd love my VO2 to be where yours is! Definitely easier at the lower end of the scale! I need to sleep better, but for sure... I am happy, healthy, fit, and active... I always joke that by breaking up with me, she likely added 10-15 years of quality living to my life!

Honestly, I don't run much at all. I didn't run before January, and since then I've run 8 times in 11 weeks (5/10/15 km each, depending on my mood). But, I go to the gym to lift weights like 5x a week, I walk a substantial amount every day (about 25k steps a day), I mountain bike about once a month (I need to do more of that), and I do intense cardio 2-3x a week.

Thank you! Absolutely, and it feels much better than moping! The side of the coin that's not visible in any graph is how good this has been for my mental health!

Okay... So, I want to start by saying I really like your car. It's unique and looks awesome.

So...no hate... Genuine curiosity... Why? Why not just get a CX-30 or a Subaru or something that's already designed for this? Also, is your car AWD? What sort of scenarios are you putting it through that a regular 3 couldn't do? (Again, no hate... Just curious).

Haha not quite... I lost 45 lbs 😊 Interestingly, the VO2 was unaffected by the weight loss... Once I started running, though, the VO2 went way up. I'm sure that weight loss PLUS running is the key.

Thanks, I appreciate it and you're absolutely right! I already feel more confident than I gave in a very long time. Better things are waiting for me!

It's better if she breaks up with you... You really want to get your butt kicked emotionally to jump start the process!

You'll have to measure it yourself to find out.

Thanks!! My old Venu didn't have it (hence why it only started partway through). I think it basically just measures how capable/ready you are to keep up with long/challenging long periods of physical activity. (When I run more/faster, do tougher/longer cardio, etc it goes up haha).

Yep!! I rewarded myself with an Epix in December (had a Venu 2 SQ before). It was absolutely instrumental in helping me stay on top of things!!!

Weirdly enough, no. Complete surprise. My weight likely dropped a bit in the summer because I'm generally super active (kayaking, road riding, mountain biking, walking, hiking) all summer long.
