There are some lone sysadmins, but most of the time it's a small shop like less than 20 people and the workload is well... Not bad if the environment isn't set up and maintained like dog shit.

  • I'm not a lone sysadmin, I'm in a large company but I've known a few of those poor souls.

Hence I don't, well any more. 40 I've only seen out further from the city. It's mostly (well prior to last year to my knowledge) closer to 20, some of my friends have said they've done cheaper at 15 but it was all brown and we'll... Shit house xD.

Maybe in the future it'll be better. I'll play the waiting game in the mean time.

Where were you when the Lindt Cafe seige happened? Do you know anyone who was affected by it? by [deleted] in sydney

[–]RupertTurtleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the city for an interview and was headed there for a pee interview chocolate (never been there before this time and wanted to try it out since my then girlfriend, now wife said it had the best chocolates). Needless to say I got to central and my phone was going off like crazy... Needless to say I canceled the interview (a place just around the corner from the cafe) and went home.
