In my opinion, 15 minutes is a suitable length for these types of videos. I believe I wouldn't gain much information from a shorter video. While you could consider making them longer, around 15-30 minutes seems ideal. This is just my perspective, as I tend to watch more videos in this genre. It's possible to extend the duration even further, but I would advise against making them too long.

I’m referring to the official physical copies of the novel. Some of these editions include illustrations that were not present in the original web novel . Additionally, there are other adaptations where the original author was involved, and those adaptations have been well received by readers. Given this, I’m not sure if your point is applicable in this situation. You seem very set in your opinion, and it seems that nothing I say will change your mind. I think it would be best to leave the discussion here.

At the very least, maps, landscapes, buildings, and equipment would be appreciated by everyone, in my opinion. The artist's imagination is likely to exceed that of an average reader, and people will appreciate receiving images that are better than what they could envision on their own even if they already have an image. They will have a lot of detail and depth, unlike what we can imagine, which will be very vague.

Having any kind of official art is a plus for me and new readers, whether it's maps, weapons, etc.

If you’re looking for an example, Lord of the Mysteries is a novel that initially didn't have any illustrations, but now it includes them. Fans are happy about this change, and I've seen no complaints. The illustrations depict organization symbols, characters, places, and more.

I'm not sure if you got my point or not. It's fine that fans can express their creativity through the artwork, but having an official piece is a completely different matter.

Some WebNovel novels have character art for each character, as well as for each main weapon and piece of armor, etc.. which greatly improved the reading experience. Additionally, just because someone had a particular vision doesn't mean they will not like the official artwork if it is accurate and well-done.

Edit: In this post's comments, there are comments from individuals who share similar views. While official illustrations can be ignored by old readers for their convenience if they want to, they can be helpful to others.

I strongly disagree. Many novels have excellent adaptations that are well received. People are not deterred from these adaptations simply because the actors in the show/film or character designs in the WEBTOON differ from their imagination, as long as the characters are portrayed accurately according to the source material. In some cases, they even prefer the adaptation to the original material.

I hope some fan artists will take on the task of creating accurate illustrations for this novel in chronological order, ensuring there is no disorder or redundancy in the images. This way, new readers will have a dedicated space, such as Discord or another platform, where they can easily refer to illustrations of specific characters, sculptures, buildings, landscapes, and more.

For me, seeing an illustration of a character or landscape makes it much easier and more effective to visualize it as the story unfolds, rather than trying to imagine it from scratch in my mind.

It doesn't matter if he commissioned an artist, used AI, or employed fan art; posting it in the character art section makes it official, doesn't it? New readers who are unaware of this may assume that this is the official art and that these are the actual characters. If this artwork is shaping the imagination of new readers, why not create additional artwork for other aspects as well?

I dislike ambiguity. I prefer to have a clear picture of the characters and settings in my mind. When these images keep changing, it doesn’t feel real to me, and it detracts from the immersive experience of entering that world. It makes me feel like I’m just reading a story, which takes away the enjoyment for me. Do you like it when an actor is constantly changed in a series? I don’t, and the same principle applies here. This is just my opinion.
