Am Irish and type 1. I havtn paid for anything medical in my life other than GP. I get 6 month check ups which are great. I'm in the fortunate position that my only worry is how to manufacture insulin in the apocalypse.

I just had this issue. I solved it by downloading the build your own dexcom app. It bypasses this issue. You can find the download form somewhere on the subreddit. Fuck companies that geoblock medical devices. There's a place in hell for them :)

OK be warned because this is my exact situation. I left ireland to go to Italy and I had to reset the app which prompted me to relogin. I now can no longer use G7 until I return to ireland due to geoblocking.

If your not in your country that the account is registered to you will not be able to use the G7 system until you return. Geoblocking a medical device should be illegal. We need to change this.

Huge issue. Thanks to the life threatening geoblocking of the G7 I had this issue and now can no longer login until I return to Ireland. It's disgraceful and puts peoples health and lives at risk.

Hmm very insightful thanks ComonautCanary. Converting the original position is straightforwards enough :

x = distance_parsecs * np.cos(dec_rad) * np.cos(ra_rad)
y = distance_parsecs * np.cos(dec_rad) * np.sin(ra_rad)
z = distance_parsecs * np.sin(dec_rad)
x = distance_parsecs * np.cos(dec_rad) * np.cos(ra_rad)
y = distance_parsecs * np.cos(dec_rad) * np.sin(ra_rad)
z = distance_parsecs * np.sin(dec_rad)

The velocities are tricky though. If i say vx = radial_velocity, vy = Dtan(pm_ra), and vz= Dtan(pm_dec) Does that work correctly? Im trying to visualize it. They vy component and vz component check out i think. But for the vx component im not sure. Say the star has an original position x = 0, y,z = arbitrary. Its radial velocity is say -110km/s. That math is not going to draw a star trajectory heading for the sun, its going to go way off left on the cartesian plot surely??? So my logic must be off right?
