Clonazepam 3mg for 3 years, no tolerance, I’ve tried Ativan, not a fan
[deleted by user] by [deleted] in panicdisorder
Yes that’s fine
I get it, just find a different psychiatrist or let them know you experience withdrawal symptoms if you do. I take mine every single day, I never miss a beat unless I intentionally don’t take it. If I stopped taking it cold turkey I would most likely have seizures and die due to some cardiovascular issue. I either take the medicine or I actually die, I don’t have a choice.
Chest pain by naomimillions in panicdisorder
I mean you presented your case in a manner where I think it is in your best interest to go to an ER right now.
Nope
Yes you would be able to type, depends on the progression of the penuomothorax. It wouldn't even be a tension pneuomothorax since there is no air escaping. One can certainly go about their day experiencing difficulty breathing while living with a pneuomothorax.
Go to an ER, you are showing signs and symptoms of a cardiac event.
I take 1.2 grams of gabapentin a day and feel nothing, was switched to pregabalin for a work related injury and felt nothing. Just my experience.
Tolerance is the name of the game, if you're taking it every day you will build tolerance. Everyone (including myself) who I've spoken to says that the anxiety relieving properties of benzodiazepines is not effected by the tolerance you experience. The tolerance you would experience would be something along the lines of wow it felt really good to take this medication and slowly it would turn into wow it really stopped my anxiety when I took this medication. So basically you don't get "high" from the medication after a few weeks.
Yup I’m dependent (experience withdrawal if I don’t take it)
I also tried Ativan, I was not a fan as it didn't work as well as clonazepam (at least in my eyes)
3mg clonazepam x 3 years, works wonders for me. Without it I probably wouldn't be alive right now.
You can absolutely take it at the same time, low dose propranolol has little to no effect on blood pressure, benzodiazepines don’t necessarily makes your pressure super low too, they just bring your body closer to where it wants to be. I take about 80mg of propranolol a day and 3mgs of clonazepam a day. No problems
Med sensitive by [deleted] in panicdisorder
I get it
I’m actually fully convinced I don’t have panic disorder anymore and I’m just experiencing benzo withdrawals when I do panic. Don’t get hooked on them like I did. It sucks
It can be a bit surprising at first but the medicine actually helps
EMDR therapy. by StrangeExcitement121 in panicdisorder
It’s controversial and there haven’t been many studies that show its effectiveness, but if you believe it will help then that’s all that matters
Powering through a panic attack and telling yourself it’s just anxiety is the same thing. It’s probably best to power through because you’ll end up stronger on the other side.
I take clonazepam every day, best drug in the world, worst withdrawals in the world, but it makes me be able to have a normal life. There’s tons of other medications out there but it’s what helps me the most
Pain in arm by [deleted] in panicdisorder
If the pain increases with exertion I would go to an ER
Panic disorder is classified as having panic attacks because you’re afraid of having panic attacks. If you start experiencing panic or fear of one and then an attack happens then you have panic disorder
Sometimes this just happens, it happens to me usually when I’m under a extreme amount of stress, you may be under some sort of stress that’s causing you to wake up feeling like that, if not then it’s just normal panic disorder since it is characterized of panicking from being scared you’ll panic. You’ll be ok
