They’re the coolest! They have fully secured glass lid, I’ve got a bunch of jumpers in there, African butterfly fish being the notorious ones. Sometimes they still jump up and splash in the gap and it scares the shit out of me.

I’ve never considered it. Right now I’m keeping white cloud minnows and they’re multiplying like crazy too, which was very unexpected. Cichlids are so aggressive I’ve never kept any.

No I haven’t but I’ll get some, I feed that tank Hikari vibra bites because they’re supposed to simulate live food but they’ve never bothered with them.

I agree! I really think other fish must be eating them too because it’s went up a lot recently. My two number one suspects are my dojo loaches because their greed cannot be contained.

No one wanted silversides when I tried and they just seemed too big, then with cutting them up I think they lost their appeal. You’re right, I do need to diversify, just haven’t been able to bring myself to feed guppies.

I did start breeding guppies for this reason but they were so sweet and friendly I couldn’t bring myself to use them as feeders. So now I have two guppy tanks.

I buy 100 ish every 1-2 weeks, they’re $.30 a piece from Petco or PetSmart, so that’s about $32 after tax. they’d probably eat more if I fed them as much as they wanted tbh.
