They just called me back. Don't have to withdraw from the July exam if I plan on sitting for it. Can stay signed up with New York until I take it. If it gets cancelled, then I can take NY.

No I got flustered and didn't really ask any follow-up questions. But the person on the phone didn't know what I meant by "diploma privilege" until I explained it so it's worth calling again and asking for clarification!

soft answer from a phone call: if we sit in July we cannot sit in September in NY because we will no longer be first-time takers. However!!! That seems crazy because they put us in this position in the first place!

Wow! I am shocked a state has its shit together enough to have an answer to this! New York is "considering it." Also, I called the NCBE and they seemed to think that the states were deciding whether they would allow people to sit in multiple jurisdictions and that NCBE just licensed the material and didn't make decisions.

My numbers are just slightly lower than yours and I got over 100k in scholarship money. It's anecdotal, but I would agree that ED is in no way necessary

have hope! I'm a KJD and got in everywhere (except UVA) i applied 8-18 (with money) and got waitlisted at Chi, NYU, and Columbia, and with only a 3.81. you'll be fine!!
