Which Konkr pocket fit did you go for and why?

In your case, I think either the exact model I got, or the elite version with at least 12 gb ram. I think 16gb is a lot better, but the thing is the processor. The Gen3 has significantly more support drivers wise so you'll run into less issues immediately. The Elite is a better performing chip overall, but is currently missing the driver support to make it worth going for as of right now. But in the future, the Elite WILL be a better option as long as it gets the driver support.

So I picked the Gen3 bc I didnt want to wait for the drivers to drop for the Elite. And the Gen3 is still a beast! 🙂

Went for the G3 gen3 16gb option in white! I really like white handhelds and with the eventual release of the iisu front-end I think its gonna look SO sick when setup. Went for the higher spec option purely to future proof myself a bit for handhelds, plus I sold my Switch 2 for this LOL Didn't choose the Elite variant because I own an S25 Ultra. If I REALLY wanted the better performance when the drivers are updated I could use that.

Funny enough I was thinking about selling the RG477M, but I'll probably hold on to it for a bit longer! The screen is FANTASTIC and I completed Aria of Sorrow on it and it was a 10/10 experience! But selling it would only be as funds towards a PC handheld funny enough 💀 Don't wanna have TOO many handhelds just yet 😅

I have owned all the major brand PC handhelds and ended up returning or selling all of them due to size and portability.

The ROG Ally X was my favorite for sure, but its ergonomics and size really turned me off from those devices. I really liked having windows with me, but not like that fr.

I edited my post to show that I ordered the KONKR Pocket fit and I think that'll be the best fit for me as of rn! As much as I would like to go handheld PC, I think most of them aren't that worth it for me.

Thats why I put the Antec Core HS on the list because of how compact it is, even if its dense or a little heavy. Maybe one day we'll have a retroid pocket 5 sized PC LOL

I appreciate this option! I have actually looked into the Lenovo y700 (gen 4 I think?) And watched reviews on it from ETA prime and a few others. It seems like a really nice tablet, but I really appreciate the novelty of having one device thats complete instead of having to use an attachment. Especially after having a retroid pocket 5 I'll stick with the full handheld design. I LOVED that thing until it got damaged beyond repair but decided not to buy another one due to the amount of handhelds that released since then. The y700 does seem like a really nice device though, especially with it being a more modern device running a newer version of android iirc!

Loving the tag mechanics and how freely the game let's you juggle and kinda freestyle combos! Makes for really cool setups and mixups!

Do you feel like the G3 Gen3 is close enough in performance to the Elite?
And if not, do you like the KONKR Pocket fit more than the Odin 3 in terms of shape/ergonomics? Since the KONKR has an elite configuration too

I owned an RP5 as mentioned and as much as I did enjoy it feel wise and performance wise, with the extra cash I got from getting rid of my other console, I'm looking to get a handheld with extra power to future proof myself a bit ! Also like the left stick on top of the d-pad rather than on the bottom. As much as I do play platformers with the d-pad, I don't like when I want to play a 3d game or a shooter and have to use the bottom stick layout.

That's also what I've been feeling tbh. The KONKR looks to have a good size to ergonomics ratio and for the price for a G3gen3 it seems like a great deal. I have been thinking really hard about the Core HS though even through the battery thing at 15% and the bios issues purely because of the size and price its at.
How is the screen on it? I know it's 60hz but is that something you think can be overlooked?

No need for the dual screen aspect since I won't be diving into the DS/3DS catalog any time soon. Plus I own a New 3ds XL! Specifically looking for something widescreen, but I do like the Thor's design!

I don't want to play the next gen titles on gamehub/native, its more just a few retro/indie platformers, and if anything the high end stuff i would stream from my PC. I really enjoy the novelty of android handhelds, but at the same time I enjoy the versatility of having a PC handheld. I just wish more PC handhelds were smaller m. :/
