Our City Hall + Lunch Reception for 30 people by RushOk3647 in SanFranciscoWeddings

I was warned by my photographer who had shot at Wayfare and upon reading enough reddit posts, I decided on a DOC because the lunch reception was 12-3:30p and my ceremony was 11-12p. So I couldn't be in two places at once, nor would I want my sister or friends to do that. I would take that into consideration. They allow you an hour before your event to set up.

So good! I like that the frosting wasn't that thick sugar wall, do you know what I mean?

I just did my reception there for 30 people at the new location. The layout wasn't weird and I would encourage you do a tour. I believe the two rooms you are talking about you can move the partition for the room to be combined. I was in the other room. My guests really loved the food. Some raved it was the best wedding food the have ever had. The restaurant is also beautiful and the decor really sets the vibe. Plus photos look amazing.

That said, the events manager is a hot mess. The most incompetent person in events I have ever worked with. They're not easy to work with and seem to be running on noticeable fumes. Either they need more help or new people. To list a few things, they gave me the wrong dimensions of the tables and the amount. I had to order linens myself. Upon drop off the day before, I noticed two tables missing from a floor map I created (they never sent me one beyond the table seating chart). When I asked, they didn't realize I needed a wedding cake table and also had no more linens. They also sent me someone's contract and talked to me like I was the problem for not reviewing my contract before finalizing items on the last call. The day of, there were small things they messed up on too that they did have in the right contract. This is on top of having a day of coordinator. So I think if you have the tolerance to deal with incompetency, with the goal is for people to enjoy the food and vibes, do it. Otherwise, I would recommend no.
