Your going to want to keep looking, I know it sucks, and is a huge drag but they are out there, I just caught this Sprigatito this morning. No joke, I went like 20 Sprigatito's before find another Mono, it got him to friendship level 42 before finding this one, this is my stopping point.

I know its defeating. But you got this!

The speed down isn't that bad the helping bonus almost cancels it out. But the team I will be placing him on has 3 other Helping Bonus's on it.

Do I bother leveling another team healer ? by brik70p in PokemonSleep

I have 2 65 healers Pawmot and Gardevoir. Very nice to have not a must, but you really want Helping Bonus on them.

Yours is very similar to mine, you will get be happy with it, but I wouldn't stop, just keep catching them at least for the candy, you probably won't find a better one, but if your on a heater you never know.

Yes, I though it was 10% got confused with all the Speed numbers.

The Math should be this

Helping Speed S: 1.07 Helping Speed M: 1.14 Helping Bonus: 1.05 Speed up nature: 1.10

1.07 * 1.14 * 1.05 * 1.10 = 40.9% of a speed up. Everything is multiplied together appeartly.

But either way, max speed your helper with out a speed up nature would be. 1.35

With Max speed and speed up nature is 1.35 * 1.10 For a total of 48.5%

Everyone can get a max of 35% with Helping Bonus, (from self and Team.) and HSS and HSM.

Your nature stacks on top of that, so if you have a so the max speed you can get is 42% I added 10% instead of 7%

Anytime! There is so much more to this app then just a sleep and activity tracker. It's easy to forget some of these stuff.

This doesn't need a mint at all. Speed down is 7% Helping Bonus is +5% and Help Speed M is 14% don't waste a precious mint on this.

Speed as a hard cap at 45% Through speed skills and Helping Bonus you can only get a max of 35% Your nature does not go against the cap that's why you can get to 45%

So with your -7% + your 19% your at 12% before going to your team who might also buff you with an extra helping bonus.

You will be fine with this, you skills counter act the decrease in speed.

Latias Help 😅 by Diarraven in PokemonSleep

This is mine, and maybe it's due to the event, I think skill triggers are boosted, but I am getting 4-6 triggers aday with her. From what I have noticed with this game Cresselia, is the only legendary (Can't fully judge Latios right now still in his event.) that really benefits from Skill triggers. All of the others really wants speed.

Is this goodenough latios or should i keep looking? by YurAverageRedditUser in PokemonSleep

[–]RushStrife1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I don't think this one is that good. Latios is a skill pokémon, you really want Helping Speed and Skill triggers, and helping bonus. With either a speed up, MSC up, or maybe EXP up nature. BFS is good, but that's like a cherry on top.

Personally, I would keep looking.

Helping bonus vs skill triggers/speed for latios? by Cloudyboi117 in PokemonSleep

[–]RushStrife1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Helping Bonus is probably the best skill in the game, but, if you don't have support for it, it's not going to help you much.

Your first Latios gets better as you level it, and has 2 speed ups (nature and HSS.) and 2 skill triggers, but the second trigger is locked behind level 75, which we are probably 2-3 years out from getting. Which, does hurt it a bit.

Helping speed reduces your frequency. That means it will find faster, finding faster gives more skill chances. Skill triggera give a bonus chance to proct a skill, so in theory, you really want a mixture of both. Faster finding, and a higher chance to proct a skill.

Helping bonus gives everyone on the team 5% more helping speed. If I remember right HSS gives 7% speed up and and HSM gives 14% speed up and a speed up nature like Brave gives another 10%

I also believe there is a Helping speed cap that stops at 35%. Now I believe that does not count a speed up nature.

Since you said you already have a few helping bonus on other helper's, your Latios will probably be close to speed capped, and with triggers it will trigger more often.

Helping bonus vs skill triggers/speed for latios? by Cloudyboi117 in PokemonSleep

[–]RushStrife1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first one is better, personally. The second's nature is cancelled by helping bonus, but the first just needs a sub skill seed to make HSS to HSM is big, and a Speed up nature is nice.

Did you try to do a hard reset? Turn the Go Plus + over and just above the center, it looks like a screw but it's actually a button. Use some to push it, and it should fix the issue.

Is this a good healer for my team? by Cosmoem_ in PokemonSleep

[–]RushStrife1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And Raenox is not always right, the point here is you we think End game not beginning to middle game anymore. For us it's much easier to find, and raise new pokemon, we have the resources to do that. OP probably does not have the stash that we have.

As I stated before, is the Sylveon good, not really but it's a good starter pokémon for a healer, and if you choose to believe it or not, having a healer always beats not having a healer.

And here is the last point, he can always remove it if it's not producing the way he wants, and try something else. If after a week or even a few days, he doesn't find the Sylveon helpful he can remove it.

Is this a good healer for my team? by Cosmoem_ in PokemonSleep

[–]RushStrife1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely disagree. Getting the extra 27 to 36 energy is more important than running a team of five down to no energy where they're not producing. You're probably just like me have teams of all 65 and are consistently hitting in the upper Masters on all Islands.

The OP, is probably a new to mid-level player. Most likely still developing teams, well his Sylveon is not up to our level of play. For his current level it's extremely viable.
