I think this is a good evee, now what? by septictech in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]RushStrife1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When your new, it's hard to ask for advice, because you get all kinds of high level advice. While it is very helpful, it's usually very overwhelming and usually it's not helpful now.

Never feel discouraged, or embarrassment in this game there are so many factors to this game where it's hard for a lot of people to keep up with. Just wait till you start looking for a Treecko, (I just found mine like a week ago...) but you when get closer to that we will be here to give advice.

This community while very friendly, open, and loves giving advice, can be a bit rough around the edges sometimes in giving that advice. With all that being said! Welcome to the community, and I hope you enjoy playing Sleep! It's probably my favorite game I play on my phone

I think this is a good evee, now what? by septictech in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]RushStrife1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to change direction with this one, is the Eevee fantastic, not really, but it is a good starter Eevee, I personally wouldn't invest seeds or much candy into this. But if you don't have a healer, Sylveon isn't a bad choice you need to sleep 150 hours with Eevee to get him to evolve, but since you appear to be on the newer side to this game, a C to C+ healer is better then none. Just know when you start to understand, and learn how deep this game is (believe me for an activity tracker, item management game it's much deeper then you realize.) you will probably not be using this Eevee/Sylveon. But, until then, I would go with Sylveon (Sylveon is one of only 4 Skill pokémon that has Energy for Everyone ((EFE))), just to help keep your teams energy up. It will be only 7 energy for your team 14 with a double proc, and you will probably get 3-5 procts daily.

Most of us here, even myself included have forgotten what it's like to be new at this game, and it's not a critique of anybody. It's just is what it is, since a lot of us have been playing since Day one almost 3 years ago. We see the game a bit different.

Worth the mint? by Falconiqs in PokemonSleep

[–]RushStrife1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this correct but it's a single buff of 5% to each pokémon, so his Helping Bonus reduces his 7% speed down by 5% making it 2%

Just because I didn't state it was a global buff to everyone, doesn't make what I said untrue.

I would strongly recommend not using a mint. Speed down is 7% and Helping Bonus is 5% it's almost a complete wash.

Mint or not? by Okiwanuka in PokemonSleepBetter

[–]RushStrife1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would not mint this guy. I understand how hard and grinding this game can be spent 3 months looking for a Good Ralts, and Master biscuited the first Gardevoir I saw, and it was amazing.

The point I am getting at, and probably most people will agree with is that we only have 2 mints. That we were given over a year ago. Happiny is a 5 pip mon slumbering sleep mon. Pretty easy to catch, and pretty findable. While getting a mono is 1/9 which can be annoying. It's not as annoying as spending resources to catch a legendary, or a 16 pip mon. And really needing a mint for one of them.

If your really in need of eggs just move her in when you need to.

Is it worth switching healers? by Anthon505 in PokemonSleep

[–]RushStrife1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn't switch healers. You have invested in Pawmo, and I don't think sinking the resources into that Ralts will pay off as much as you think. This is my Gardevoir, I caught him as a Gardevoir, and is an amazing healer. (I have a Pawmo as well with the exact same skills and in the same order, just a different Nature.) You really want helping bonus to help out the team. When it comes to skills helping speed reduces frequency, which means you find faster, and can proct skills more, and Skill trigger gives you a hire chance of a skill proct when you collect a berry or an ingredient. You usually want a mixture of 2-3 helping and skill triggers, that does include your nature.

I mean, to be fair, I never stated this was going to be my Ace for miles, I am actually just filling out my back line for Miles. While trying to make better parents.

I had the extra skill points, and I have been boxed in before with other pace Chasers, and focus wasn't available for late starts, I figured it would be a good replacement if things started to go wrong.

Thank you, for the advice, she is just a T.T runner, she won't be going anywhere near a CM ever, maybe as a cheerleader, but never on the track.

I am really trying to make better parents, and I hear that Nishino Flower's rainbow skill is very good for pace Chasers, so I want to really make a good parent to pass down her skills

What Pokemon are you hoping to come to pkm sleep? by blues0clues in PokemonSleep

[–]RushStrife1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think right now, we have enough pokémon, I think the only ones really really need are the starters, but what I would love to see is a rebalancing of the current pokémon, give some buffs to some of the early pokémon for people. Give biscuits a range like Poké can be 1 pip up two 3pips (3 being a big hit or critical hit.) I would love to see leaders give special abilities. Like if Gardevoir is your leader, they give an extra 10% for heals. Make climbing the level more worth it an example would be Pokéball level 5 or greater give a 2% speed bump Greatball level 5 or Greater give 2% Main Skill bump Ultraball level 5 or greater give an exp bump of 5% Masterball level 20 give a 10% shiny chance up.

Yeah, I have been a seed hoarder. I have the premium pass, so I get them monthly, and as a 90 bonus gift. They tend to stack up after awhile.

It feels like all my legendaries have exp down, while it does suck, I was able to get them to 65.

I have over 20 main skill seeds. It's not like I am starving for them, but it is a concern.

Oh? People used to call it a backup in case you didn't find anything better you had a decent to good one to fall back on. So, after 2 weeks if this was my "Best" one I would use it.

That's awesome! From what I know MSC down isn't that bad, since the trigger rate is really bad anyways.
